Would buy again. Disclaimer to other big-heads: you gotta break it in for a while, let the fibers stretch.

A simple wool hat with Middle Eastern style. My chosen color (copper) should work well with most desert camo outfits.

Nice looking headwear. Sturdy. A bit to big for my honkin head but it seems it can be stretched after a while.

Took it on my backpacking trip in the redwoods! Great hat very comfortable. Did fit a little tight at first, but through the magic of Pakistani wool it now fits perfectly.

Inshallah you too can look like your favourite special forces soldier. Adjusts pretty well for different size heads, and is not itchy or uncomfortable.

Excellent cold-weather hat. Keeps your head warm even when it’s off your ears (which I prefer, so I can hear better), can keep the sun out of your eyes in a pinch, and looks dope. My first order I got a cream/white one, second order I got a black one and another cream one. I did request darker colors, but the luck of the draw is what it is (I would personally prefer if AP separated them by color so we can choose, but I understand that’s more work). They do require some breaking in, especially for my rather large head (and if you’re sensitive to that classic wool itchiness), but once broken in they’re soft and fuzzy and comfortable. 10/10 hat. P.S. peep the Belgian Jigsaw. Thanks AP

Gary Brooks Faulkner, a handyman from Greeley, Colorado, believed that God had chosen him for a mission: to track down and capture Osama bin Laden. In June 2010, at the age of 51, Faulkner flew to Pakistan carrying a samurai sword, night-vision goggles, a pistol, and Christian books. He hiked into the remote Chitral region near the Afghanistan border, hoping to succeed where entire armies had failed. Before he got close, Pakistani authorities arrested him for being in a restricted area. His arrest made international headlines, and the press quickly nicknamed him “Rocky Mountain Rambo.” This was not his first attempt. Faulkner admitted that he had made as many as eleven solo trips to Pakistan and Afghanistan to hunt bin Laden. None of these trips were official, but he believed deeply that God was guiding him. When questioned, he insisted that he was not crazy, just faithful, and that his mission was real. After being deported back to the United States, he gave interviews mixing his religious beliefs with bold claims about his role in the fight against terrorism. When U.S. Navy SEALs killed bin Laden in 2011, Faulkner celebrated but also claimed a spiritual connection to the mission. He said that his own efforts had played a part, even if not directly. His strange determination made him both a figure of fascination and a target of ridicule. Hollywood later turned his story into a comedy film in 2016 called Army of One, with Nicolas Cage playing Faulkner. The movie highlighted the absurd side of his adventures, showing a lone handyman trying to do the impossible with little more than faith, a sword, and pure determination. Today, Gary Faulkner is remembered as one of the most unusual figures linked to the War on Terror, a man who turned his personal crusade into a story the world could not ignore.

🇵🇰 PAKOLS ARE BACK! Handmade and sorted by color for only $19.99! The pakol is a traditional wool hat originating in the mountainous regions of Afghanistan and Pakistan, particularly associated with Pashtun and Nuristani communities. Made from handspun wool, it is typically shaped as a soft, round cap with a flat crown and a rolled brim that can be adjusted for warmth or style. The hat became especially well known in the 20th century, both as practical cold-weather headwear in the Hindu Kush and as a cultural symbol tied to Afghan identity. During the Soviet–Afghan War, the pakol gained wider recognition as mujahideen fighters frequently wore it, cementing its image in modern history. Today it remains popular as everyday wear in its regions of origin and has also spread globally as a recognizable piece of traditional and functional headwear.
