Incredible buy! Great fit (maybe a little long even though I’m 6’3” tall) but, comfortable and warm. Wore it as an under layer on one of the coldest days of the year and it was fantastic. Great quality and condition. Got many compliments on it!

I'm 5'11" 165lbs and I returned the medium for a large. Fits great, barely used.

Excellent combat shirt. Very lightweight, feels like wearing a sun hoodie. Much nicer than the Rothco and Amazon offerings.

The UBACS fits true to size and the condition is mint , I'm seriously thinking on getting a second one to dye it jet black or turn it into some dark MTP

If this were bright teal or something instead of MTP and had a big **** logo on it, north face or Patagonia would market this as a backpacking or hiking shirt and sell it for like 125 bucks. Super well made, and sort of perfect for backpacking in denser forest, (say, the superior hiking trail), nice and cool and lightweight, but the long sleeves that are a thicker and heavier material mean you won't get scratched by pokey bushes or have your 125 dollar hiking shirt get a bunch of snags and loose threads because it's a very lightweight material. Plus it's a pretty drippy thing to wear. 5'6 7/8” and ~155 lbs and a medium fits perfect with the slightly baggy sleeves.

Go a size up, at least. I did and it fits perfect. Breathes great, weighs nothing, 10/10 would combat shirt again.

First impressions- the shirt is exceedingly comfortable, appears to be well-made and in practically brand new condition, and looks great. No notes.

Excellent condition. Lighter than the British Desert type, no pad pockets. Buttons instead of hook and pile at cuffs. Bought it for summer so no actual use as yet

It fit great in the chest and length. The sleeves were slightly short…but rolling up the sleeves is very comfy and looks way cooler anyways! Great price and quick shipment. Will buy again in the future!

Product description

Expect minor variation in cut. Some UBACS may have extra pockets, as this batch is a mix of two uniform cuts.
The British Multi-Terrain Pattern (MTP) camouflage, introduced in 2010, represents a significant advancement in British camouflage design. Developed to meet the diverse environmental conditions faced by British forces, MTP combines elements from both woodland and desert patterns, making it effective in a wide range of terrains.
This pattern was the result of extensive research and development, taking cues from the successful Multicam patterns used by other militaries. MTP's versatility quickly led to its adoption across various types of British military apparel and equipment, reflecting a modern approach to combat readiness in varying operational theaters.
The British MTP Under Body Armor Combat Shirt is specifically designed for efficiency and comfort under body armor. Constructed from durable, high-quality ripstop, it features a lightweight, breathable torso that reduces heat and moisture build-up, making it ideal for extended wear in challenging environments. The sleeves and external pockets are made of robust fabric in the MTP camouflage, providing both utility and concealment.
Reinforced elbow areas offer additional durability, while Velcro panels on the sleeves allow for the attachment of insignia or patches. This combat shirt is not only functional for military personnel but has also become popular among outdoor and shooting enthusiasts and airsoft players for its comfort, resilience, and practical design.

MTP & Desert DPM Combat Shirts are in stock starting at $30! We have sizes small thru extra large at the moment. The modern combat shirt emerged in the early 2000s as a response to the changing needs of soldiers operating in hot climates while wearing body armor. Traditional Battle Dress Uniform (BDU) tops were too hot, bulky, and abrasive under plate carriers, so special operations units—especially in the U.S. and Europe—began experimenting with hybrid garments that paired lightweight, moisture-wicking torso fabrics with durable, camouflage-patterned sleeves. Companies like Crye Precision helped standardize the design through the U.S. Army’s Future Force Warrior program, leading to widespread adoption during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Today, the combat shirt is a staple across many militaries, optimized for comfort under armor while still providing protection, utility pockets, and compatibility with camouflage uniforms.
