The make and materials are stellar, as always, but the fit is very off. I was expecting the XXL of The Lad to fit like my XXL of The Boondock, which has an immaculate fit. But The Lad (perhaps because of the patchwork?) is shallower, and doesn't sit far enough down on my head. My wife said it looks very odd. I'm considering trying an 3XL, but you've been out of stock for a long time now. And that would be too loose in circumference. I'm hoping that as the fibers loosen up, The Lad will sit further down on my head. Otherwise, it's still a great hat, but I might have to gift it.

If you are on the fence as to whether you should give this company your hard earned money or not please listen and DO NOT buy. This company does not stand behind their product. This was a gift for someone's adoption celebration. As soon as the recipient tried it on it was too tight despite the ones from Christmas (same size) fitting just fine. We were told that we are out of luck due too the purchase being more than 30 days. Zero consideration of the circumstances. This is a defective product that we are stuck with. I will have the 3 hats we got on eBay for a song and will not be repurchasing from this company. Take your money elsewhere.

My husband loves the hat but it is a little large. He has several and they all seem to fit differently. He is not one for keeping emails so I do not have the receipt but would like to exchange for a size smaller. This is a ML, I guess he needs a Small. My husband loves this company’s products. The only issue he has is with the logo inside the LAD. It sticks to his head. (He shaves his head). Otherwise he really likes them and he looks amazing in them :)

I didn't know if I was going to like my Patchwork Scally Cap. This was my first one EVER and didn't know if it was...ME! From the moment I received it and tried it on, I was sold!
