I have previously been a fan of the “Y-peeler”. The Misen peeler changed that opinion. So easy to use and very sharp.

I have long wondered if the ergonomics of this style of peeler were better for peeling vegetables and fruits. Without a doubt, I am happy to say that I now much prefer this straight handled peeler with the blade perpendicular to the handle over the older style wherein the blade is parallel to the handle. I experienced much less fatigue and a better cut on everything I have used it on.

This peeler feels good in your hand. Well made Andhra has some weight to it but not enough to make your hand tired. Its very sharp and peels smoothly.

Peels everything like it’s cutting through above room temperature butter. Though we haven’t tried it on the butter. I butter try it to confirm my analogy.

Yes, I’ve used so many different kinds of peels and usually end up not peeling the potatoes, apples, whatever. Comfy handle and weight. Looking forward to some veggie peeling!

Trust me.. I own at least two of every peeler... including ones from Missen. This one is the best ever. I even peeled potatoes when I didn't really have to because it was so much fun. A real pleasure in the kitchen.

This is my second one that I've purchased to add to my kitchen arsenal. These glide super smoothly over my carrots, and the skins are peeled in seconds. I took it to my daughter's house over Christmas because I knew I'd be peeling the veggies and I wanted to be sure that I had had this handy. You can't go wrong with this peeler.
