They are very sharp and tough, and should be able to handle any and all kitchen issues! They also can be taken apart, so cleaning or sharpening them is a breeze!

I always need shears in my kitchen, and I use them for so many different purposes. Three things I love about my misen shears that others don’t always have are: 1. They separate very easily and do not make them loose. This is great because I can use them to cut herbs then wash them to cut something else right away. 2. They have a serrated side all the way through. (See picture comparing with my other shears. Misen is first) 3. Not that heavy. If I had a scale I would compare the weight.

In the past month I’ve purchased a chef knife, these scissors and a chef starter set. I’ve had well-equipped kitchens for 40 years, so the idea of a “starter” anything seems a bit odd. But I bought them because they sound well made, and indeed everything I’ve received has been 5 star!

These kitchen shears are fantastic, especially for us folks with “small” hands (I’m 4’11”, so my hands are really in proportion, lol!). Anyhoo, I have always struggled with the “normal” sized kitchen, paper or sewing scissors so when Misen first introduced their smaller shears last year I immediately bought a pair. They have become a major workhorse in my kitchen! I use them for cutting up chicken breasts/thighs, pork loin, herbs and salad greens - heck, I have even used them to cut up pizza! After almost a year of daily use they are still as sharp as when I first used them, have no rust or oxidation visible and they clean up like a breeze. I brought my Misen small shears and a couple of my smaller Misen knives with me over the holidays so I could help my parents with the food prep. My 91-year old mom was so impressed with all of them, but she really fell in love with the shears. I bought her her own pair ( in blue; mine are black!) and I hope she gets as much use out of them as I have.

Seems to be pretty sharp and made well. Priced good. We had a pair of kitchen shears from another maker before we purchased these that were pricey and had plastic lock that broke easy and was junk.. misens kitchen shears are sharp and work well. Only con is it says they arent dishwasher safe but thats no biggie.

Great, very sharp little scissors for smaller tasks (but probably a little small if you're cutting up a chicken, which I don't do anyway). And I LOVE that they come apart for cleaning. They are high quality and will certainly give me many years of service. Highly recommend if you want a small sized pair of kitchen shears!

Very good size for smaller jobs. Easy to clean and even though they are smaller, they still fit nicely in men's large hands.
