The misen knife is very nice to see also for use. But one thing is bit heavy. Its almost 2.35g . If it would be less weight I’d say amazing, but it’s okay to use nicely. I both it from here, supposed delivered within 3-5 days but they took more few days. I think it’s fine for me because i am living in uk where is it unavailable. That’s why maybe they delivered bit late. I really liked it because of the shape also the blade. Sharpness was very satisfying. Let’s see the photos and videos .

This is my first quality Chef's knife. I am not a professional and that is why I purchased a less expensive knife. I have spent much more on knives I don't even use and this one does not disappoint. It is very sharp right out of the box. I even did the tomato slice as they do in the advertisement and it worked. That made me happy.

I had some knives that I was given and they did the job. But they needed sharpening after each use. I tried my mom's Cutco, which was fantastic, but a little out of my price range. When I got this Chef Knife, I knew I'd found something comparable. I love it, it's easy to use, and does the job so much better than my old set. I threw my old set out, got a magnetic strip for my wall and this and the paring knife by Misen replaced virtually all of my other set.

I wish the handle was a tad more weighted but I can appreciate the lightweight of the product. I was in search of a super sharp knife and this one does not disappoint. It catches on and then easily glides through the most difficult cuts, even diced tomatoes. The care instructions are thorough and clean up is a breeze.

I ordered this knife to augment the Henckel Chefs knife I have. I have a few other Chefs knives I’ve acquired over the years, notably a couple of Japanese knives that are wonderful. After a few months use I am very happy with the Misen Chefs knife and would highly recommend it. It’s well balanced, the shape of the handle is comfortable in multiple holding positions, held it’s edge well and it’s pretty with the red handle (my Wife’s comment). The Misen is now my Go-To knife and if I had to have only 1 Chefs knife this would be it.

Feels nice in the hand. Good balance. Very satisfying to cut with. I did round the sharp edges on the top of the bolster. It was pretty harsh on my index finger.

The knife came with no defects, it was nice to see instructions on how to properly use for people who may be less experienced. For the cost it is a great knife, overall fit and finish was good. It came sharp and can be comfortably used for the vast majority of kitchen applications. One area of criticism is there were some finer details that could be addressed. The tang of the knife was not ground to be flush with the handle material leaving a small burr you could feel while handling. Similarly the edges of the spine of the knife could be rounded so the sharp angle does not dig into your hand when using a pinch grip for prolonged periods.

Great sharp knife with good weight balance, bolster area is sharp of your are holding this knife in pinch grip otherwise it would be a 5 star knife. I haven’t sharpened as yet so I don’t know how would the edge retention is going to be. If there is no other update assume it’s good.
