I had to finally retire my old serrated knife. I ordered, and promptly received my Misen 8"serrated knife, and I am pleased!! The knife is very well made, and very sharp! I have used it to carve meat and slice bread, and it cuts beautifully without tearing the food up. I would recommend this knife to anyone needing a reliable serrated knife! It's a great tomato slicer too!

I bought the serrated knife to cut my sourdough bread. And it works perfectly! The knife is strong and just thick enough to be easy to cut through the bread! Love it!

Purchase is the third knife purchased from Misen. Other two - chief-type knife and a paring knife- are great knives that maintain sharpness for a long time. They deliver what you want and expect from your kitchen knives.

I recently got married and the wife really loves freshly baked bread and since I already had the Misen Chef's knife and Utility knife, it was only logical that I get the 8 inch Serrated Knife too. This knife is perfectly sized, very well balanced, and cuts through all the bread I had tossed at it so far with ease (sourdough, baguette, French country bread). The handle color is the same beautiful blue I have come to love. Thanks so much and bye bye regular sliced bread! (I will still sneak in a slice or 2 here and there...)

The motion feels nice and smooth, it’s as beautiful as misen’s other knives and the pincer grip works well for the delightful slicing of bread. I look forward to many future adventures with Sarah the serrated knife.

I have a local bread store that makes the best sour dough crusty breads but they are difficult to slice. Not with this knife! I’ve tried several different knives over the past few years -even an electric knife advertised as a good choice for cutting bread, and not one of them even comes close to my new Misen bread knife. I’m going to get one for my daughter for Christmas as she makes her own crusty bread. Buy this knife and you’re going to want to spread the word.

This eight inch serrated knife works great for slicing loaves of bread, cutting thin slices of tomatoes, or cutting a very large bagel in half. It is much handier than its smaller six inch counterpart. Go bigger, it's wy better!

I was having such a hard time with my old bread slicer getting straight, even slices when cutting through a loaf of bread. Since I like thin slices of bread, this became a real problem. The separated blades didn't catch the bread very well and I would often get uneven slices. Now I can cut nice, straight slices quickly, evenly like I was cutting through butter, as thin as I want them, with my new Misen bread knife.
