The pan is nice to work with. Pizza slides off and the dough is easy to work with. Only complaint is it scratches easily. You would expect HexClad to be scratch resistant but using a blade cutter very carefully it scratches. Not bad. Not destroyed but got a plastic cutter and slide the pizza off to cut. It may be in the owners manual now to cut on it and if so I should have read them. Works nicely but scratches easily. I have cheap metal pans that have never scratched. Just be careful.

Updating to add a star back and to say customer service did finally agree to send a new one. I’m still leary on product quality given they said it shouldn’t be used at high temperatures. Guess we will just use it to reheat pizza instead of cooking it from scratch.
Do NOT BUY if making pizza from scratch. Hexclad says that my pan looks the way it does after a few uses because of high heat. It’s a pizza pan, most recipes say to pre heat to 500!! They won’t honor warranty even though there’s build up and chipping after wasting my time on back and forth emails.

This pizza steel is excellent. Thin and crispy crust lovers, it’s a game changer!! Even though it’s non stick I dust with cornmeal. No preheating required, so you can roll your dough right on the steel. Clean up is breeze. Doesn’t warp/flex in a 500 degree oven the way a thin pizza does. I love it!!

This pizza steel has gotten multiple uses within the first week. I made a pizza from scratch, and have done other things on the steel. In every instance, it has worked perfectly, nothing has stuck to the surface, and it has cleaned beautifully. Our first pizza was made, rolling out the dough on a cold steel. The crust was not as crispy as I would like. The instructions warn against heating up the steel before using it, but I will try. It warmed up to see if I get more of a crispy crust. We appreciate that it is lightweight and such a joy to use.

Perfectly nonstick, while delivering a nicely crispy thin crust pizza! My only issue is that the handles are so flat, it’s difficult to safely remove the hot pan off the oven rack. I wish they were angled up a little so it would be easier to lift.
