I love Hojicha, and this is my first time purchasing any to make it myself and I could not be happier with the product! I will certainly be ordering this product again and again through Jade Leaf for such a good product. I also recently moved and the package had trouble arriving to my location; it was being returned to sender. I was able to call the company, talk on the phone with a real person and arrange to have the package reshipped for no additional fee and I got it in the mail no problem after that! I am so happy and know exactly where I will order this again and again! I love Hojicha- so totally underrated and delicious! Thank you!

First time tastinf Hojicha and I immediately fall in love with the special nutty and smoky taste. It is great as is without any sugar added. Absolutely recommend to get it from Jade Leaf. Super fast delivery.

Very different than matcha, so it took some getting used to but now I love it! I appreciate the nutty, toasty flavor and there's aaalmost a hint of a light chocolate-y taste. I enjoy mine iced, with oat milk, vanilla paste, and a few dashes of cardamom. It's great to have this in rotation alongside my usual matcha.

I'm really enjoying my "impulse" purchase of organic Hojicha. It's delicious, and a new taste for me. I'm having it a few times a week with milk and a little sweetener. It's so good and earthy.

This hojicha is definitely cafe quality! It’s delicious iced, hot, put in a latte, and used for baking. It has the deep earthy taste I love but it doesn’t taste burnt like others I’ve had in the past. I do feel that a bit gets wasted with the way you have to store it but that’s my only critique.

I had hojicha in a cafe, and knew I needed to purchase it to make it myself. This one is so flavorful and really packs a punch for just a small amount of powder. I like to mix a heaping 1/2 teaspoon with water, and then add it to 1.5 cups of soy milk to make a latte. So good!

This is in no way the fault of the product. (In other words, it just wasn't my "cup of tea" lol.) I loved the cocao/caramel notes, but the extra "smokiness" just didn't agree with me. Thankfully, Jade Leaf understand this sometimes happen, & were great about helping me get a refund without judgement or shame. Thankfully, I love their "Teahouse Edition" Ceremonial grade option in the 100g tin, so I didn't go home empty handed! Jade Leaf rocks!

I already start my day off with JLM's ceremonial grade matcha, and now I've added a JLM iced hojicha latte mid-morning to my daily routine. The hojicha is high-quality, and the flavor pairs perfectly with creamy oatmilk. It's unlike any tea-based beverage I've tried: earthy, but not grassy (like some folks think matcha is), with rich and nutty notes too. Love this product, and can't recco it highly enough!

I really thought it was going to taste a little bit of chocolate bc I saw all the comments saying that. I didn’t like it but I will try to prepare it in different ways to see how I like it better.
