I like the vanilla matcha, but that said, not directed. I thought it was too much when made as directed on the label. Instead, I use half and half with my barista matcha and the vanilla is more subtle and really good. A nice change.

Because I like the natural flavor of matcha tea, this is not really for me. I never put sugar or any kind of sweetner in my matcha and this has 9 grams of sugar. I did like the vanilla flavor. I gave it 4 stars because it has matcha tea and the vanilla wasn't bad. I would not purhase this because I am actively trying to consume less sugar. Is there any way to make it with a lot less sugar?

Received this as a GWP. It gave me a headache as the vanilla scent was so strong. The matcha was a different color than the ceremonial barista or the tea matcha I purchased. Taste was not delicious either. I would skip this product.

Delicious! Smooth with just the right amount of sweetness. I'd never had a vanilla matcha before, so it seemed odd at first, but it grew on me. Adds a touch of warmth to the flavor. I look forward to my cup every afternoon.

Received this as a free gift with a larger purchase. I buy plain matcha powder to both avoid added sugars by drinking in on its own and also to control the sweetness of the recipes I might use it in, but I was hopeful to try this because I do enjoy the occasional iced matcha latte and I like vanilla. Unfortunately, this was extremely gross. The vanilla flavor is very artificial and very overpowering - I can't taste the matcha at all! I thought about possibly diluting it with pure matcha to cut down the sweetness and amp up the matcha flavor, but I feel like that would just be ruining my matcha. The reviews comparing the taste to protein powder or canned cake frosting are absolutely on point.
