Loved how this came out! Used the Overtone bleach on it first and I do a section in the front right part. I usually do the red so I was very nervous. However, I am pale in the cooler months and tan in the summer so I love how the red in better for the summer and this one is better for my skin tone in the cooler months.

I was hoping for a warm fiery ginger color, but both this and the espresso brown turned my hair too pink! My hair is virgin, medium brown with muted reddish/blonde tones and some grays. I wanted to enhance the gingery tones in my hair, and the orange color of the cream was misleading compared to the final result. The pink tones were especially noticeable as the color faded. I need to wear natural colors at work, unfortunately this missed the mark.

I tried the golden copper alongisde ginger, on my part-red, part-white hair... While it was on I was worried I'd have Bozo the Clown orange, but after rinsing and drying, it is as close to my real colour as anything I've tried in the past 37 years since I started going white early in college. Amazing depth, my curls are nourished and strong. LOVE the scent. A sample jar lasts me at least 2 treatments, so while it's pricey, I know a large jar will go a long way. SO worth it for the natural, shiny, sparkling chestnut red this savy-curly girl craves!
