It definitely deposits color and covers the gray and it gives a refreshing tingle to the scalp due to the peppermint. However, I feel like it lacks giving any moisture, softness or any shine to the hair at all which is the whole purpose of a conditioner. I mainly use it for color depositing. I will have to start using two conditioners now.
