I didn't have high expectations for this product and it still managed to disappoint.
My daughter has wanted pink hair for quite some time and she saved all her chore money to buy this. We followed all the instructions and the final result"¦nothing. Not even the slightest hint of pink in her hair. I didn't even see pink in the water as we rinsed out her hair. Complete waste of time and money. Now I have a completely useless bottle of daily conditioner sitting around. But by far the worst part was seeing my daughter be so very disappointed with the result.

Used this color on my blonde daughter's hair. Followed the inductions on the container. No color remained after rinsing. Her hair is a bit darker blonde, but based on the color swatches in the product description, it still should have been visible.

The pastel magenta didn't do anything to my hair. I bought it and the pastel rose gold for my bleached hair that was professionally dyed in shades of pink. My ends didn't hold the color- so supplementing with overtone. I love overtone. But this color didn't work at all. The light rose gold worked fabulously! However I think the color formula has been changed a bit in the last couple of years.

The product quality itself is nice, as it goes on just like a conditioner would. No need to use additional conditioning. But that being said, I used the entire jar up in two weeks. The color just doesn't last, and takes a lot of product itself to really color the hair. I rate it as a nice color, easy to use, but impractical.

I'm only buying the Pastel Magenta shade because Vibrant Magenta has been out of stock for months. When I bought a sample size of Vibrant Magenta, it had almost no pigment and when I sent a question to customer service, they said it was a known issue and they had no good stock of Vibrant Magenta to replace it so they gave me a refund. Was going to wait to use the refund when they got that color back, but after 2 months I decided to just use the Pastel instead. It's nice, but I just want the brighter color.

My naturally brown hair was so brittle and broken after having it (professionally!) balayage lightened and colored "œrose gold." That color faded after one conditioner rinse, boo!
I decided I wanted my pink hue back and overtone smoothed out the damaged hair better than I thought possible! Before it was straw like and I was absent-mindedly picking at the broken hair. AFTER it was so silky and the hue was perfect! Can't wait to try a bolder color!

Produced a splotchy result. Coloring was NOT uniform. The hue was much darker than illustrated.

The colour came out so vibrant and made my hair soft and shiny. The colour lasted way longer than expected (about 3 weeks). My only critique is that the color didn't quite match the label on the jar (pastel magenta).
Next time I'll try the pastel pink

This color turned out to be a great transitional color from purple to pink! I love how my ombre turned out pairing this with extreme purple. & there was enough product for me to use it twice!

I have wanted a light pink hair for a long time. I tried the pastel pink in the past but my hair always ended up peachy orange. I consulted with overtone and they said the pastel magenta would work. Unfortunately, it didn't. I tried bleaching my hair more but all the spots that weren't platinum ended up pinkish orange and blotchy. I had to cut the ends because the bleach killed my curls.
