I have tried everything out there,I’m naturally a brunette who has ginger kids and love their hair so I dye without bleach but when my roots come in I run for ginger overtone!It is the absolute ONLY brand that doesn’t make my dyed ginger a red and it also makes it so soft and shiny! I’ve been using overtone since 2019! This color is probably my favorite so far. I am a brunette so this color did not last long, which I’m OK with. I love how I can just change my hair color for a few weeks and add tons of hydration to it!
10/10 recommend for my other brunettes ❤️

I totally agree with the previous review. I have been using Overtone Ginger for 5 years. The previous version left my hair a beautiful, natural looking shade of ginger. This new version makes my hair an obviously fake chemical-orange after only 5 minutes of sitting. It also fades even faster than before. I'm heartbroken. Please fix the formula.

I was surprised that it came out exactly how I walked out of the Salon with. I hadn't realized when trying this fun color that it would need such maintenance. My Hairdresser recommended this and WOW. love it! I love how it looks a little tangy which is what i associate with the ginger. I wish it lasted longer. I found that it faded faster than intended. And maybe I am using too much product? But quiet a bit is required. For reference I have wavy, fine hair, processed, about waist length.

The Ginger Glow scared me a little while it was on- I thought it would be too orange. I mix it strategically with Chestnut, and it is incredibly realistic. Because it is NOT permanent, it grows out evenly and naturally, and I can retouch roots or money pieces as often as I like without damaging my hair. My wavy-curly hair LOVES it and my curls are better than ever.

Absolutely love Overtone and their products! The Ginger glow has been my go to for a while, perfect for a bright refresh and I love they way the color clings to my natural highlights causing some tones to be brighter. I always recommend overtone to everyone!!!

I used this in ginger to touch up my white temples for a couple years and loved it. Then they changed it to ginger glow, a very different looking and feeling product, and it just washed out without leaving any color. So sad that it doesn’t do anything anymore.

I use this shade to keep my auburn/ginger hair vibrant and warm! I love the consistency as it is easy to work throughout my hair in various sections for even color pay out. I'm also a big fan of the spearmint/rosemary scent!

I periodically get copper balayage at a salon, and this product makes the highlights last much longer and look absolutely fresh and new. I get lots of compliments after using Overtone. I love that you don't have to mix anything and it doesn't damage your hair, it only takes 15 minutes, it's vegan, and it's OK to use on hair that has been previously colored with other products. It's priced very reasonably, smells good, and now it's even available at Sally Beauty and Target. Highly recommend!

I was a little worried when I saw that they had changed the formula on the Ginger line I'd be using for ages with great results. The good news is that it's even better now! My natural color is a medium/dark blonde and the color depositing mask gives me the perfect soft red-gold I've wanted my whole life without being too "apple red" or "traffic cone orange". The new formula is much easier to apply evenly.
