This product works wonderfully and doesn’t damage hair. It is a wonderful way to test out a new color without the risk of damaging your hair. If you have thick hair get the bigger size. It does have a blue base so if you have blonde in your hair it will turn a blue color and it does wash out.

This color gave me that beautiful blue black color on top of my dark brown hair. I will say if it does get into any blonde it will turn it blue and the color will hold for awhile in the blonde. You can use bleach or a clarifying shampoo to help get it out quicker. My hair always feels shiny and soft after using these and I love that it’s good for my scalp too.

It is the only brand that doesn't irritate my scalp. I found that if I apply it before shampoo the results aren't as good. For ideal results, I apply after the shampoo before I dry the hair. Otherwise the black turns into purple. Unlike other brands it makes the hair softer. Still not perfect but it is the best alternative I've found to bleaching. Too bad that I order from Canada and need to pay extremely high shipping fees and customs. I am actively looking for alternatives in Canada because of this.

I was using this first on my black graying hair, and it would put a bluish tone on my gray hair. I really liked the bluish hue, so I decided to go with the vibrant blue for brown hair color and I Love it!

I read a lot of reviews about semi-permanent black hair dye and many of the reviews of this one before purchasing, so I had low expectations. The photos I provided show my natural hair (and segments I had bleached) before and after in the same room/same lighting. The before photos are the first 2, unwashed hair. The last 3 are after using the product on clean dry hair. The results are what I expected: my naturally dark brown hair is now a darker brown and the bleached sections turned blue. I wish I could get a true black color but I know it’s not likely with semi-permanent. But I do like the results anyway!

Great color deposit and last for a long time. I find i only need to use the weekly every 2 or 3 weeks and can use the daily once a week and it holds the color just fine. The smell is amazing too. And it had a nice cooling effect on the scalp which is really pleasing. It also leaves my hair feeling so soft and healthy after. Highly recommend this product for either coloring the hair solely or using it as a touch up in between hair appointments.

works well but be careful of washing your hair with acrylics! I had bleed my second wash after I deposited and it bled and stained them :(
