It has a patch job on the back, some cardboard crusties on the outside, and the buttons are a slightly rusted, BUT, it is an ISSUED jacket from 1998... so all in all... Good quality and smells like surplus just toss in the wash and soften it up and its like brand new.

Nice jacket. Very durable, I spent an entire day working in the snow and it didn’t give me any issues (also kept me nice and warm). The only thing I don’t like is that it stunk pretty bad so I had to wash it a bunch.

As soon as I saw this product, I tried to resist the overwhelming urge to make the purchase but I am not that disciplined. I felt like the yellow sponge checking the mailbox every hour for its arrival. I couldn’t be much happier with issued gear. Once I got through my ritual of odor washing as I do with all my glorious surp, I threw it on my shoulders and realized the biggest issue with this product. It does not come with any measures for repelling romantic suitors that this product attracts. Other than that, I am in love with this parka and cannot wait to catch all the eyes in the fall and winter! It fits great and looks amazing.

it's what I wanted. I might buy a xl because this one I have is a large and is a little tight on me as I'm 6'0 240 or so with long arms but can still wear a sweater under it and rock it without a sweater it fits perfect.im not going return the large because I'm fine with it fitting somewhat tight ill use it in bow season. but yeah, good product. also, to the pr person that reads these thanks for sour candy you dropped in the box lol I normally don't like sour candy but they were good

One of my favorite things to wear right now. Really happy it came in the perfect size of 8, though I wish selection of all Bundeswehr sizes was available as I don’t think a 3 would’ve fit well. Jacket has tons of character with some various stitching and repairs on some edges, definitely wearing its age well since it was made in 1998! Honestly looks like something a stalker would be wearing lol. My only gripe would be the missing zipper tabs for the hand pockets on the chest, but that’s an easy fix. Thank you so much for giving me the drippiest jacket ever! I’ll definitely get some flecktarn pants if I can get something that matches the wear of the parka.
