I put this on and instantly started eating Mac and cheese. It could withstand a Mac and Cheese frenzy so it is pretty solid. Love it! However please be sure to clean relatively quickly after use, fluids will leave crusty residue if you wait too long, ask me how i know.

I'm a bigger guy, broad shoulders, a bit of a gut, just shy of 6 feet, and the XL fits pretty snug! Good motivation to trim ten or fifteen pounds off because this thing is wicked awesome. I'm used to harsh New England Autumns and Winters and this field shirt feels thick enough to stop a good wind. Combine it with a sweater, thermal shirt, or fleece underlayer and I'm sure I'll be wearing it in nearly 0 degree conditions. It feels very sturdy as well and has a ton of pockets of good size for small pieces of gear, enbloc clips, small magazines, snacks, or cool rocks found while hiking along with many more objects your crow-heart desires.
