It took 3 boards before I received one that wasn't damaged. Unfortunately the first board was severely stained/damaged and the second was cracked in 2 pieces. I ordered the board on Nov 28th and didn't receive an undamaged one for over a month. Very disappointing quality control and custom service resolving the issue.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY! This board is very expensive so I expected it to be amazing. After just over a year it cracked!!! Says something about a lifetime warranty. Hexclad says they have a 30 day guarantee. We take extremely good care of our kitchen tools. This is defective workmanship and this product should be recalled.

I purchased this cutting board for Thanksgiving. I barely used it and in less than 2 months, I pulled it out for Thanksgiving. There was a significant crack across the board and another forming. I contacted the company and they stated that the 30 day warranty had expired. How can a company not back their $300 cutting board when it was clearly a crack from poor workmanship rather than misuse. Worse yet, there is nowhere to call them. They will only accept emails. Unacceptable! And I was going to buy more pots and pans from them. No way. I will not support a company that doesn’t back their expensive “high end” items!

This cutting board is well above my expectations! The two different prep sides along with the pan that’s acts as either a drip pan or a place for vegetable cuttings to be discarded makes it so functional. Or chop an onion and push it into the drip pan and then empty it right into your sauté pan. This year we carved our thanksgiving turkey with no mess. It’s definitely worth the money in terms of functionality and you can tell it will last a lifetime.

I ordered this for a Christmas present. The package was sent to the wrong adress. I emailed multiple times and no one seemed to care. When I finally flipped out on them, they resent another one. Long after Christmas and no longer a gift I could give. They sent it to the wrong address again. I never received it and no one cares. They kept my money, of course. I love thus brand but will be walking away from making any purchases again..

It is very sturdy. I love the catch tray when chopping vegetables. The other side made slicing beef easy. My only complaint are the stains. We had seasoned it with mineral oil but it stained anyway.

I bought this for my son-in-law and he was impressed. The cutting board exceeded expectations in all ways. It is a show-stopper in terms of looks although it is very heavy. Kudos to the designers since it is perfect in terms of carving with the hatched surface to keep meat from sliding to the trough for catching juices and the removable pan for capturing them. The reverse side is also useful as well as lovely.

Great quality. It’s in the center of my kitchen cabinets. It’s such high-quality wood that nothing soaks into it. I didn’t have to pre-treat it with any Wood, oil or anything. It doesn’t cut, and it wipes clean. Very, very good quality.
