I’ve had this for a year, and it’s already cracking on both sides and separating from the metal base. For the price, this is completely unacceptable. I use other HexClad products daily, but this one is a total disappointment and doesn’t live up to their usual standards. To make matters worse, it only comes with a 30-day warranty—not lifetime. Save your money.

This was a gift to my son for his collection of knives that I purchased over time for him. I believe he has the whole set now and was just missing a neat place to keep them. The block is beautiful and very well made for sure. Think I might need to purchase another to finish a resting place for all the other pieces.

This was the perfect addition to my kitchen countertop. I was able to discard of the bulky slide in storage block that came with my knives, and add a sleek, space saving piece of artwork to conveniently display and use my knives. Its nice that both sides are magnetic so I can place the lesser used items and honing rod on the back side if the block.

When I saw this magnetic knife block I thought it was so clever. Well, I couldn’t “unsee” it and so after taking a look at the clunky space hog I had been using for years it was a no-brainer. What a difference! It is so sleek and modern looking. The magnet is powerful enough to hold my biggest knife and I’ve found if you take a knife from the handle and gently twist it the knife comes right off the magnet. I’d buy it again in a nanosecond.

I absolutely love this product! It's space saving, holds six knives firmly, looks beautiful (I followed mineral oil application advice), and is properly weighted with a stable base. I recommend to anyone who's doesn't want a common wood block. I think it's also beneficial for the knives to be open to the air, rather than in an airless slot in a wood block.

This is my second one. I purchased the steak knife set and the original kitchen knife set. So one board just wasn't enough. After receiving the second board I was dissatisfied that the colors didnt match. And i get its natural wood but im not talking about shade or two. They look like they are from different manufacturers.

Both sides can be utilized so you can have your Hexclad kitchen knives on one side and the Hexclad steak knives on the other. Had the three different sized frying pans now for about a week or so. So this is a short term review. Pans heat very evenly and the nonstick is the best I have ever experienced. Cleaning is very easy since I haven’t had anything stick. Do NOT heat these pans beyond medium heat, they heat up fast.
I’m sold and I am cookware snob. I gave up All-Clad for HexClad. They are excellent. I use mine on an induction cooktop. The heat distribution is great as is the temperature control. Browning happens nicely and you can cook on a lower heat. I have a whole collection and will add more!
