Carefully researched weighted vests. I am a 73 year old female, about 118 lbs. Was recently diagnosed with skeleton-related health issues.
Understanding the ONLY way to strengthen bones is to apply appropriate exercise and gravity to ones bones to “force” growth.
Daily, use a weighted back pack and hiking poles to walk. I’ve been able to go from completely crippled to an upright, walking position with about 98% mobility in several yrs daily work.
This vest, which comes in various weights, is much more convenient for me than my pack. I selected the 20 pounder.
I wear it walking and while on our Stair Master.
It fits well and I enjoy the balanced fit; it has two chest straps. I recommended it to various female osteoporosis afflicted neighbors but stressed their medical person’s approval FIRST.
I really like the vest, it’s for a female anatomy, and I think it helps improve my posture and related muscles. It’s a lot more consumer-friendly than those available at my local sporting goods store and does NOT have those pesky sand packets for weights.

I really like this vest. It is well made, soft, comfortable and adjustable. I had a surprise though the day after using it for the first time when I woke up with right shoulder pain. I should explain that I bought the vest for trail walking with weight (rucking). I had been using a 20# weight inside a backpack for this purpose for more than a month and wanted to try the vest instead. It felt great in terms of the weight and the weight distribution. I had upper back fatigue during my walk and otherwise no issues but Boy! did I ever have a problem the next day and for a while afterwards with right shoulder pain. Moral of the story, expect a 'break in period' when changing your weight distribution. I have gone back to the backpacked load for now. Hoping to use the vest (on smaller walks) in the future.
