The pull up bar is pretty much simple to install just align straight horizontally then twist both sides evenly until they are stuck to the door way and then twist the bar in the middle until it can’t anymore and you are good to go.

My diabetic Chiweenie dog won't stand still for insulin injections, so I suspend her in mid-air in my bathroom door opening using this rod and a small harness and straps/hooks from the Doggie Lift store. I originally tried the Doggie Lift bar, but it was too large and prevented my bathroom door from closing. That is a great system if you have a large dog, but for a tiny dog, this pull-up bar is awesome because you can open and close the door even with this bar in the door frame! It was a snap to install, holds firmly, and has worked miracles for me.

I'm a big guy and this hold me with ease. I did have to break my door frame a little because I wanted to make sure it was secure (I'm gonna replace to door anyway)

This is a fantastic pull up bar. Some friends of ours have one for their kids who are athletic and we wanted one for our son who is a boxer. Unfortunately we couldnt find opposing studs to anchored into and had to give it away. The price is still great. I just wish we couldve used it.

Installed it in the doorway leading to the garage. Didnt have to use the support pieces. Easily held my 160# body weight.

I was very scared that this needed to be ******* into the wall, since it comes with screws. Fortunately I am light and this thing will stay in my doorway from pure friction / compression force.

The bar has been working great. I did attach the brackets to the door jam with some heavy duty flooring screws. It would be nice if longer screws were included in the package. I’m 230lbs and the bar has no problem holding my weight. I would definitely recommend this bar.

Great quality but the mounting screws that come in the kit were way to short to properly install it. Used 2 1/2” screws.

Im not sure why I decided to review this today, but here we are. This is a solid piece of equipment that still get regular use in our house. Its never needed repair, adjustment, or replacement. Its a solid and useful product!

There are many ways that this can be assembled incorrectly which leads to “these people cant even make a good product”. The multi grip pull up bar, after it has been assembled correctly and in order, is a quality pull up bar. It is not the best out there as it is fairly inexpensive, but is wonderful for those on a budget and want a various amount of ways to do pull ups or push ups (as advertised). I honestly find nothing wrong with this product, works as advertised and even has replacement screws in case you lose or break one. In any case, give it a chance and do not connect the middle bars together until you are ready to put the door bar on.

I bought the straight bar that spans between the doorway (not the tradition pull up bar that hangs from the door header).This has been such a versatile tool. I use it for pull ups but then lower it for dips, sit ups, stretches, etc.Tip:Adjust the grip by only rolling the center portion so that you can "screw" and "unscrew" the bar and move it around easily.So far no visible damages to the door jamb.I'm 210 lbs and it holds my weight without any movement.Would definitely recommend!

Doing pullups on a tension bar leaves me feeling... tense. This bar, on the other hand, ain't going nowhere, plus it looks good doing it. Easy install, extra hardware for optional installations. Five stars!

Works fine! Its better than nothing but you cant do full motion cuz of the door limitations.Just did some pull ups before writing this. Went from 0 to 5. I think its pretty food progress. Getting a resistance band with the pull up bar highly recommended if you cant do any pull ups. It helps a lot!
