I had high hopes for this pregnancy protein shake, but unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. The taste was absolutely terrible—so bad that I couldn't even force myself to finish it. If drinking it plain is unbearable, there's no way I'd consider trying to mask the flavor with any kind of mix or recipe. For the price, I expected something much better. This was a total waste of money, and I strongly recommend avoiding this product. Save yourself the trouble and look for other alternatives. There are plenty of better-tasting and more palatable options out there. All the other review are lying. Do yourself a favor—skip this one

I love the ritual prenatals and choline supplements and was desperate for a protein supplement because I don't love animal products and most protein powders are sketchy. I love the ingredient list, but cannot get over the taste. It's overly sweet, chalky and has an unidentifiable sharp taste that lingers in your mouth long after you've finished drinking it. I've tried mixing it with smoothies, different milks, even added spices like cinnamon to mask the taste and nothing helped. The taste is so overwhelming.

Disappointed that this product no longer comes with a measuring scoop. 5 Tablespoons is a lot to have to add one by one when you're in your first trimester, super nauseous, and have no energy to make yourself something to eat. I also feel like the amount of powder you have to put in your smoothie can sometimes feel overbearing to drink. I do like the flavor, but I'm finding myself only wanting half of what it calls for.

The new packaging is even worse than the last. They also don’t provide a scoop with the new bags. It makes a bigger mess than the last bag! And with the price of this every ounce counts. They need to switch to metal containers or jars or something because this new packaging isn’t it at all. The product itself is alright the taste is good, but it doesn’t blend that well it clumps pretty bad. I have to shake it in my blender cup and that helps with blending for less clumps. Please fix this packaging issue!

I was very disappointed in this product. The protein power did not dissolve in water or milk and you could feel clumps as you drank it. It leaves your mouth coated in the powder and does not taste good.

I was searching for a protein supplement to help with my healing and recovery for postpartum while nourishing my body with the nutrients & minerals it needs. Thanks to ads for finding what I’ve been looking for!! It is the best tasting protein powder I’ve tried (I’ve tried a million!) without sacrificing the good things you need whether it’s pre/during/or postnatal! My recovery wouldn’t have been the same without this. It’s now an essential!!

This protein shake has become my morning routine, I mix it with organic, no sugar added soy milk and it is a delicious way to start my day. I have energy and am not hungry right through lunch. I’ve tried other shakes that were lumpy and hard to mix, this one mixes super smooth, very easily. I highly recommend.

I’ve mixed this with just milk or blended it into a smoothie and it’s good both ways. It doesn’t have the chalky taste some protein powders have, and it’s a great supplement for getting the right protein!

I really wanted to love this protein powder as I love my ritual multi vitamin and my gut health supplements and would recommend these to anyone! But this protein powder is not one of them - it does not mix well, the taste is extremely chalky, I couldn't finish my smoothies. The bag it came with was also faulty, it wouldn't close so I had to transfer it to an air tight container. Unfortunately, I won't be able to finish this as the chalky taste is just too strong...

I drank this protein every morning during my pregnancy, the taste is great with milk and was easy to drink when I was always on the go in the morning. I love that all the ingredients are traceable and the boost of protein, omegas and choline. My baby boy is healthy and is now 2.5 years old and I am still drinking this in the AM to replenish postpartum. Love this and their pre and postnatal vitamins!

The product benefits are great with the extra choline but the ratio of powder to recommended liquid seems off. I had to put it in the blender to get a good blend otherwise it is extremely chalky and chunky. Flavor is fine if you like vanilla though.

I like the protein powder itself but the closure of the bag is terrible. Product arrived with powder all over the bag, and because of the weird Velcro closure, it never closed and powder explodes every time I open it. Honestly, the mess makes me rethink buying it again, which is a shame cause it’s a good product.

I’m super disappointed that I spent so much money and had really high hopes for this product. I’m 7 months pregnant and wanted to continue using this into postpartum as well, but once I finally tried it there’s no way. It breaks down decently in my blender bottle and cold water, but it’s chalky with a lingering aftertaste. It doesn’t really taste like vanilla and isn’t sweet. With the price, I might try it with milk or in a smoothie but I’m not optimistic anything will work.

The benefits are great, I love seeing what I’m putting into my body, love the transparency, I’ve taken Ritual Prenatal vitamins in the past and have only been impressed. No bloating, no weird after-taste like some I’ve tried.

I like the taste, and I like how it gives me security that I’m getting enough protein while breastfeeding. However, I’ve run out and there is a week until the next shipment arrives. I think it’s a little ridiculous that a monthly subscription of protein powder only lasts 3 weeks, especially at this price point.
