This was my first time using Lunar Tides and I was so excited. My hair is a level 9/10 platinum blonde so I was excited to see this work. I slapped it on and it was going good…until it felt warm. Nothing crazy so I let it sit for the recommended 35 min. Washed it off and noticed welting on my hair line. The color?? GORGEOUS. It came out a pretty light violet but because it’s semi perm dye I knew it would fade to a white in no time. Unfortunately, the reaction was a bit worse than I had thought. It was had a giant headache all day, which then triggered a seizure later on in the day. (I’m prone to them it wasn’t just out of nowhere lol). I’m so bummed that this dye made me welt up.
PLEASE REMEMBER to always test a dot of color behind the ear on the skin to make sure you aren’t allergic to any of the ingredients. I will be able to use the color as long as it doesn’t touch the skin so I’m not at a total loss. BUT GIRL GET IT cause the color is BEAUTIFUL!

You really need to bleach your hair very bright before using this. I had kind of a light, dirty blonde tips and then very bright towards my roots, The Roots turned icy, but the dirty blonde part just turned a little bit more golden blonde.

I’d let myself suffer needlessly with brassifying blonde. My only complaint is the jar is for max 2 uses (and I have short hair). Wish there was a larger size.

Lunar White Toner is awesome!!! I put it over pre-lightened hair and it toned my hair a very light lilac. I thought about leaving it that way but I was aiming for pastel pink. I put diluted Petal Pink over it and I was in awe. That method dyed my hair a gorgeous orchid pink. I’m in love with Lunar!

I only left this on my freshly bleached hair for about 4-5 minutes. My hair turned lilac. It definitely did not work as a toner. I would buy it if I wanted pastel purple hair. But not as a toner.

This product is magic! I bleached my hair so I could make sure my hair would take the lavender (Lunar tides as well) I was going for. With having medium brown hair, the blonde was very yellow as a result. After one use of the Lunar white, my hair looked like a natural blonde, something I've never been able to do myself. Incredible! And only 35 minutes. This is the best neutralizer if you are going blonde.
