I bought a box of cheap blonde hair dye to lift my color from a medium brown to a light brown/dark blonde before applying this color after reading comments about it and I love it! I mixed It with dark violet, I don’t know if that affected the color much but i like it regardless. Smelled great too!

Really gorgeous but definitely darkens hair quite a bit & fades to blue/grey rather than to a lighter purple. will have to re-bleach rather than just letting the color fade before redying.

Using this dye was a pleasant experience. It didn’t smell too bad or make me too anxious. I really liked the fact it was two colors together to create a nice undertone, purple & black, hence why I bought it in the first place as my hair is already naturally pretty dark, and had some darker to lighter brown color in it. I wanted to cancel the brown out and this dye did exactly that. It might have only left me with a slight purple tint as I did not bleach my hair color before, or use any sort of harsh developer to lift the color. This only deposits, but it worked as my hair is much darker than before & looks great. It has more of a blue black undertone tho, than purple, with a grey shimmer. I would recommend this, u just might not get the exact purple color you want, depends on your hair tone & if you’re going to use bleach or not..my hair doesn’t feel damaged at all and it felt so soft after, I didn’t even need to use conditoner. We will see how long it lasts.

I love this hair dye! I put it on my mostly silver and ash brown hair and it turns into the prettiest charcoal-purple color. I mix it 50/50 with conditioner and apply it. I let it sit for an hour and wash it out. It stains the tub a little bit but not as bad as other fashion color hair dyes. It’s easy to remove dye stains with rubbing alcohol and for the tub or shower use a bleach based cleaner.

Perfect! Great color! Worked great for pre colored hair. I had red tint in my hair from previous purple dye but MAGIC SALEM hid all the unwanted red hue. I have naturally dark hair an I used it without developer! TRY IT!!
