I've been dyeing my hair blue for almost 10 years now. I've gone through countless brands before finally settling on Lunar Tides last year. I was mixing Blue Velvet and Dark Violet together for awhile, but when this dye was released, I knew I had to try it. I used the whole jar and about a quarter of Dark Violet, and the results are absolutely stunning. I have never had so many people compliment my hair. And most of them have all said a very specific thing - "That color really suits your skin!" My boyfriend raved on about it, my mom said it was the most "mature" blue I've ever done, and I have at least five customers comment on it a day at my retail job. But, most importantly, I love it. I feel so confident and cool with this dye! It's made me feel more vampy and dark the way I strive to be. I will be repurchasing until the day I no longer want blue hair (when pigs fly). I hope this dye never leaves!

I love this color and mixing the blue velvet shade! I wish there was an 8oz. bottle:( Lunar Tides is my FAVORITE brand. I've tried many and they fade the least...and magic shadow is sparkly in it's container!!!

This hair dye is amazing! i had a red/pink color that i had let fade out for a about 3 weeks and I was a bit nervous to put this on top without using color remover first but I thought why not? It turned out amazing! It was definitely a change for me having darker color hair but I absolutely love it and have been getting so many compliments! :) will definitely buy again!

This is def giving me 7th grade blue black hair but in a good way. However it was not my plan to go this dark on my naturally dark brown hair. Hoping it lightens up after a few washed.it stains everything btw and bleeds a good amount. However if you want blue black hair this will achieve that even on non bleach dark brown however not sure for how long.

I really loved this color. I was kind of skeptical at first because I have bright blue hair and I wanted a blue black color. It’s exactly what I got and wanted. Please never discontinue this color!!! I really want to buy three bottles or at least a big bottle. Please bring this color back :)

I like the magic shadow better than the magic Oracle, the blue definitely covers my dark brown hair better than the green/teal. Of course with dark brown hair none of the dyes will show up super colorful, but I definitely see a dark blue tint with this one. We'll see how long it lasts!

Used it to redye my 2 month faded dark blue hair and it was great! It gave me what I expected, a dark black-blue lol. Left with half a container after dyeing shoulder length thicker hair. I didn’t have much problem with staining other than under my nails. To avoid it I put Vaseline around my hairline, washed my stained skin with hot water and soap, and used Clorox bleach cleaner to clean off the stained shower wall. (^^)

came out almost black color but blue shade under lights or sunlight. slightly faded after each time you wash your hair, doesn’t make your hair dry, even moisturize your hair, more dark blue color shows after 1-2 times wash. smells PRETTY GOOD!!!!!!!! my hair looks healthier than too 😭 definitely worth the price, recommend to buy!!!!!

I absolutely LOVE IT! I went to a hair salon to dye my hair a dark midnight blue and it was a disaster. They messed up my hair and I was so heartbroken. I saw the reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. I was messy applying it, but it doesn't stain the skin and the color was perfect!

Love the quality of these dyes and I won't buy any other brand now to color my hair, it just showed up darker than the swatch let on. I was very surprised when it came out more black than blue on nearly white blonde hair
