PERFECT Ribs: Know what to look for at the market, and this is my favorite method of cooking ribs for Cowboys. I use a Dutch oven & a smoker to get tender ribs with more flavor. Basted with BBQ Sauce when you are searing over the fire at the end. Full Recipe below & at link in bio. Grill is made in Oklahoma USA by @hastybakegrills - Use code: KENTROLLINS for 10% off at their site. #cowboycooking #dealsforyoudays #bbq #ribs #babybackribs #bbqtiktok #bbqribs #cookout #recipevideo #cowboy Ingredients 1 side baby back ribs Kent’s Rib Rub or your favorite BBQ seasoning 32 oz box chicken broth Kent’s Red River Mud BBQ sauce or your favorite sauce (optional) Instructions Remove the ribs from the package and peel the membrane from the back side. Discard the membrane. Generously season both sides of the ribs with the seasoning. Cover and place on the counter for about 45 minutes. For Outdoor Cooking Cut the ribs in half and place in a 12 or 14-inch deep Dutch Oven. Pour in enough chicken broth to bring up to the bottom of the ribs. Place the lid on the Dutch oven. Place a generous amount of coals on the top and around the bottom. Cook for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature is 185 to 190 degrees F. Remove the ribs and place on a hot grill. Grill for about 10 minutes, flipping occasionally, to get some color. Baste with the BBQ sauce, if using, and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove and serve with additional BBQ sauce, if desired. For Indoor Cooking Place a wire rack in a large foil pan. Place the side of ribs on the wire rack (you don’t need to cut the ribs in half). Pour in enough chicken broth to bring up to the bottom of the ribs. Cover with foil and place in a preheated oven to 280 degrees F. Cook for about 2 ½ hours, or until the internal temperature of the ribs is 185 to 190 degrees F. Remove the foil, and sprinkle the tops of the ribs with additional seasoning. Increase the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Place the ribs back in the oven and cook for an additional 20 minutes, or until the internal temp is 200 degrees F. Baste with BBQ sauce, if using, and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Remove and serve with additional BBQ sauce, if desired.

Brisket Nachos - A Tribute to Bar Food! #cowboycooking #brisket #foodtiktok #nachos #saloon #barfood #westernlifestyle #easyrecipe Ingredients 4 to 5 pounds brisket Original Seasoning or your favorite all-purpose seasoning Kent's Rib Rub or your favorite Rib Rub 1 cup beef broth 1 15 oz can ranch style beans drained 1 15 oz can black beans rinsed and drained 1 cup Red River Mud BBQ Sauce or your favorite BBQ Sauce, optional 8 ounces whipped cream cheese chive and onion flavor preferred 16 ounces shredded smoked gouda cheese 16 ounces shredded cheddar ½ to ¾ cup heavy cream Pickled jalapeno for topping Pickled okra for topping Chopped or sliced avocado for topping Instructions Take the brisket out of the fridge about 40 minutes before cooking. Generously season all sides of the brisket with the Original and Mesquite, or your favorite blend and let set for about 30 to 40 minutes. Preheat the grill to 275 degrees F. and move all the coals to one side for indirect heat. Add a couple chunks of hickory wood for smoke flavor. Place on the indirect side of the grill/smoker and let cook for about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Turn a slow cooker on high and add the beef broth. Add the brisket and cook for about 4 hours, or until tender. Alternatively, you can cook this in the oven at 300 degrees. Add the broth to a large pan and add the seasoned brisket, cover with foil and cook for about 3 ½ to 4 hours, or until tender. In a Dutch oven or soup pot, add the grated cheeses and cream cheese and place over low heat. Stir frequently, until the cheeses begin to melt. Add the cream, a little at a time, and stir until it is mixed well and pourable, or your desired consistency. Set aside and keep warm. Pour the beans in a saucepan and place them on the grill to warm. Add the brisket and the beans in a bowl and add the bbq sauce, if desired, to taste. To assemble, add a layer of chips to the bottom of a large skillet or sheet pan. Top with brisket, cheese and jalapenos. Repeat with one or two more layers. Finish by topping with okra and avocado. Serve immediately.

🤠 Poor Man's Burnt Ends - All the bark, smokiness, and flavor with a chuck roast! Used @hastybakegrills and #smokeywoods along with our Rib Rub & Red River Mud BBQ Sauce. Recipe below & link in bio Ingredients 2 tablespoons coarse ground black pepper 2 tablespoons sea salt 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1 tablespoon smoked paprika 2 teaspoons dried oregano 2 teaspoons chili powder 2 tablespoons Kent’s Rib Rub optional 1 3-4 lb. chuck roast ¾ cup beef broth 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 cups Kent’s Red River Mud BBQ sauce or your favorite bbq sauce Instructions Preheat the smoker/grill to 275 degrees F. Rake all the coals to one side, for indirect heat cooking. Combine all the dry seasonings in a small bowl. Cut the chuck roast into about 1 inch cubes and place in a large bowl. Generously season the roast chunks well on all sides with the seasoning mix. Place the pieces on a raised wire rack, and arrange so they aren’t touching. Place the wire rack on the smoker/grill over the indirect heat side. Add 2 chunks of your favorite smoking wood, I prefer cherry and hickory. Shut the lid and cook for about 1 ½ to 2 hours, or until the internal temperature of the meat is 170 degrees F. Remove the meat from the smoker and place in a foil pan. In a small bowl, whisk together the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce and BBQ sauce. Poor over the meat and toss to evenly coat. Cover the pan with tinfoil. Place back on the indirect heat side and continue cooking for 1 ½ to 2 hours, or until the ends are tender. Serve warm. #cowboycooking #appetizer #bbqtok #bbqlife #outdoorlife #TikTokShopBackToSchool
