Used to use Hydro-tech pads. They discontinued the 4 inch pads. Found these just in time to remove staining from one if our cars' hoods. Cut level is just right.

All of the Chemical Guys pads are of good quality and are long lasting. They are easy to use and change and are easy to clean. I use the 4" pads for small, tight areas and headlights. I also use them with a medium cutting compound to polish my glass shower doors at home.

I purchased this product as part of package that included the Torq-x random polisher along with VSS, ceramics, and some cleaning supplies. I washed, clayed, then used this to remove some swirls the previous owner had put into the paint. I finished with a carbon force ceramic then hydroslick. This product and process removed a lot of the minor imperfections and surface scratches. It is not intended to be a heavy cutting pad as I still had some deeper scratches that I was not able to remove. That would take a different product but overall I am very pleased with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend it.

Very easy to use and compatible with my makita random orbital sander. Worked well with the chemical guys cutting compound to remove light scratches. Seems like this will last forever for my use which is casual DIY.

I have to thank the Chemical Guys ! I found them online. I watched their videos. And with their suggestions I purchased the drill adapter, Headlight Restorer liquid & Orange Cutting Pad. This was the smartest move I've made in awhile ! I was concerned about my wife's car headlights & their hazing/discoloration. And they turned out so nice !!! I was impressed !!! I then did the headlights on my truck. Wow, how nice & clear the truck's headlights are now. My neighbor saw what I had done & I ended up doing the headlights on his suv. Thanks Again.

I really don't have anything bad to say. Don't know if it was the Meguiar's compound or the compound pad. I used but had to re compound 3-4 times to get the scratches out This was after 5000 grit orbital sanding. Would like to hear from the chemical guys and get their option on what they think. Was the pad or the meguiar's not aggressive enough

Using the additional products, pad conditioner, and pad cleaner the can take and deliver quite a punch. When cared for properly, I can usually do a few trucks (2 stage correction before I renew)

Did an awesome job on my headlights. Best is to apply jet seal after the buffing process to keep it in new condition for longer period of time.

The orange hex pads are my go to pad for removing light perfections. They hold up well after several uses and look good as new after cleaning them with the chemical guy's foam pad cleaner.

I bought CG's orange, white, black and red pads for various applications. They preform well spreading and breaking product down dispelling heat. I clean with brush between panels to limit build up. They have cleaned well and reusable. So far so good and at this pace, I anticipate they'll hold up to repeat use. I bought 3 of each mentioned at this point to keep up with keeping up with projects allowing those used time to dry out. Worth the investment.
