C4 P4 combo is hands down unbeatable. With the TORQX polisher and the right pads, I had this 7 year black paint that takes an Arizona sun and dust beating (and dirty toddler hands) looking better than when it came off the factory line!

I purchased a 5" yellow pad and after using it a couple times the foam pad is already separating from the backing/velcro piece. The pad itself worked well during use but it is disappointing that the adhesive didn't even last long enough to compound an entire car, Since I didn't use it until it had past the 30 day return window I am out of luck. Usually I have had good luck with Chemical Guys products but not this time.

First off, this is my 26th year painting and refinishing in the automotive industry. This yellow "heavy cut" pad is okay for home use in my opinion. Of course your choice of compound plays a huge role in getting results. Using this yellow pad, and 3m #1 cutting compound, I couldn't get 1500 grit scratches out. The pad could be more coarse in my opinion. Again, perfect for home use. Not in a body shop.

I had the opportunity to use this pad today for the first time. It's a more firm foam than the Lake County pads I've been using which was nice. The grooves in the pad help disapate heat and hold product while spreading out. It left a smooth surface behind and cleaned out easily.

Are used the orange cutting pad with the pad conditioner. I got halfway through my vehicle and the pad begin to separate from the backing plate material and a hole got worn in the middle of the pad

I have been reserved about using more abrasive pads on my relatively new clear coat to remove scratches and swirls, however, the less abrasive polishing pads simply could not remove the defects that were bothering me. The Hex-Logic green pad was perfect! It did not cut too deep and is self leveling to avoid "hot spots." The results obtained by using the green pad and Chemical Guys' VSS/Scratch and Swirl Remover are beautiful and the photos will attest to this.

Great quality polishing pad, very durable. Because it is a light polishing pad i was also able to get great results with a final finish. Using the pad with Rupes LHR21ES.

I've been using and ordering as many as I can, these pads are that good ! The 4" pads are my absolute favorite. DA or Rotary, the hex pattern holds the product till evenly spread then all the little edges cut & polish. Easy easy to clean.

I've done a couple reviews on this pad, and each time, I learn more about it, and get more out of it. I've consistently out cut both the orange and yellow pads with the green. Even giving the orange and yellow the advantage of being placed on a Flex 3401! The PC 7424xp, green Hex Logic and popular otc compound absolutely kills paint defects. I don't even use microfiber pads anymore... My technique utilizes the rotation of the pad more than pressure exerted. Thus I've been able to remove 1000 grit marks from most paints using it. The green pad is essential to the technique. Besides ultra heavy cutting, medium, and light cutting, it also works well the designated heavy polish application. I would never intend on finishing with it though. Highest gloss will be from the blue or black pads. I wish I could buy the blue and green pads by the case. Then again, I'm still using my original pads bought in 2013!

I know this pad is said to have no cut, but my experience is different. I use this pad as a general polishing pad / one step pad with phenomenal results. I never use the white pad, because it's too stiff, and doesn't contour as well as the blue. I also like that the open cell blue pad runs cooler, and dries faster after washing than the white. I've also been able to remove 2000 grit sanding scratches and marks with this pad, and a popular polish that is said to be ultimate.

The Hex Logic Red pad is a great pad. The pad design gives you extra time to work your polish. It won't scratch your paint. It's good for the finish polish, the burnishing, the glazing and the paint sealant. This pad is very user friendly.

Bought this Item 3 weeks ago 6.5 Blue hex polishing pad and when it arrived a 5inch arrived instead. Not worth sending back from Australia due to shipping cost but the 5 inch will haveto do.
