It's a lovely fragrance, it reminds of of an older perfume called white shoulders to me..not a fan. But, it did make me smile because of the nostalgic feeling it brought 😌 I'm 49, but this reminds me of an old lady scent. 😆

I love Dossier and have so many multiple bottles of my favs , this was a free perfume and it’s just not what I wear . It has good reviews so if you wear perfumes like this you are sure to love it . I just like musky, deep , woodsy, spicy, sexy, even unisex . This is none . But happy to have tried it!

i didn't realize that this one is based on the extrait version and not the original - this one is apparently much more white florals-heavy. very strong, indolic, with a citrus edge. it has a soapyness that kind of sticks in the back of the throat. mature, elegant -- overall too much for me personally. returning.

I don’t know what it is about this scent that’s hard for me to like. It’s a strong clean scent but clean in a sterile/medicinal/cleaning astringent kind of way. I can’t get past the initial metallic-y notes even though the base notes seem like they would be more pleasant. Overall not my favourite and I probably won’t reach for it often/might give it away.

I received this after reaching gold status. The only female in my household is my teenage daughter and this isn't a scent for the younger generation. For those that like heavy floral fragrances might enjoy this one. Would have been nice to choose at least male, female, unisex for the gift. Unfortunately this one will have to be resold.

I haven’t tried the original, so I’m rating this based solely on my enjoyment of the fragrance. :) This smells like a chic, expensive grandmother—the type who doesn’t buy a lot of things, but buys the best when she does. It’s definitely more floral and classically sophisticated than I’m used to; while there are fruity notes, they aren’t prominent. This type of fragrance may not be my personal cup of tea, but it is elegant and well-blended. I was a little disappointed that the label was bubbled. I don’t care for my own sake, but it does make me hesitant to purchase these as gifts.

I really didn’t like this at all… I’ve never smelled the original, but I purchased this based off the description. It smells like an old lady perfume on me. Maybe it is the floral mixed with sandalwood, but on my skin it had a very irritating rose type smell… I tried layering it with Woody Peony, which I also ordered, which toned down the synthetic-y smell a lot and added some interesting depth and softness that made it smell much more natural and wearable. At the end of the day I didn’t like it enough to keep it though, so I ended up returning it. The return process was incredibly simple.
