I'm new to the perfume world so I'm excited to start my collection with my first Dossier purchases! I got sticker shocked when sampling Jo Malone's bottles so this is absolutely heaven sent when I landed on their Spicy Mimosa version. There's a sexy sophistication about this scent that isn't overbearing. It hits all the right notes of warmth and depth for me. I've discovered that some strong scents give me headaches, probably because I don't normally surround myself with a lot of fragrance except for candles, but this scent isn't too strong for me. It has been a crowd pleaser and ultimately won the approval of my husband, which is a big plus! This scent continues to grow on me after every use! Definitely a repeat purchase when I run out!

On a paper swatch it smells just like the original, but when worn on me it smells slightly sweeter than the Jo Malone one. It’s still very nice and the longevity is definitely there. Sillage is good too.

Another scent in my quest for an interesting spicy perfume for this season. Surprisingly I really couldn't pick out any notes. There was a nice overall creaminess, but the whole thing dried down into men's '10-in-1' bodywash so quickly. Gutted, but returning the bottle was very simple.

I really hoped I’d like this one, but it’s just not for me. I was expecting more spiciness or warmth, but its opening was - almost soapy to my nose and it smells really green. Oh well. It just wasn’t meant for me. ☺️

I was not sure what to expect with my first purchase. This smells EXATLY like the (overpriced) designer original. The bottle is very durable, and the cap is not flimsy. "Thank you" to whoever created this scent!!! I'll be back for more...SOON!

So incredibly unique and beautiful. Creamy, cozy, fresh, and soapy all at the same time. It definitely makes me think of winter, a perfect match for cozy sweaters and cuddling.

I love the fragrance, but all the scents on this site with less than a 25% concentration are very very weak. I have to use an sixth of the bottle or more to get any projection or sillage. They are more like a body splash than even and EDT and certainly no where near an EDP. However, it is a good way to find your next fave fragrance - But I am looking elsewhere for dupes that are more long lasting and stronger. Dossier could do itself a great service by offering strengths of fragrance, and making sure at least one version is the 25% concentration. Those are def worth it.

I’ve not smelled the original scent this was inspired by, so I can’t compare. I recently smelled Byredo’s Eyes Closed and fell in love with it, as it’s a perfect Fall/Winter scent. But I just bought a bottle of Byredo Mojave Ghost and can’t afford to drop another $300. While Spicy Mimosa doesn’t have the same notes as Eyes Closed, I was hoping the orange and cardamom would still evoke that warm and spicy Fall/Winter vibe I was looking for. And while it meets that, it just wasn’t as warm and spicy as I was looking for. So I will continue to hunt for something similar. However I do love this fragrance and can’t wait to wear it in cooler weather.

I dislike floral scents so this wasnt for me but I think this may work for someone who likes that type of scent profile. I do like the other jo Malone scents I've tried so I'll stick with those.

This is one that's also a bit different from the original - since mimosa is a top note instead of in the heart, it is even more fleeting than in the original. rather than lingering throughout, the mimosa is gone quickly and it turns into a musky skin scent within a couple hours. disappointing as someone who loves the original specifically for that mimosa note, but i'm keeping since it scratches that itch for such a fraction of the price.
