4-1/2" X 7/8" T27 ZIRCONIA HIGH DENSITY FLAP DISC - 10 PACK

4-1/2" x 7/8" T27 (Flat Face) Zirconia High Density Flap Discs are manufactured using European zirconia cloth. The European material is superior due to its uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients. These discs exceed our other flap discs by packing 40% more abrasives on each snippet than our regular density discs. In addition, all discs are manufactured on computer-controlled machines and subject to numerous tests which ensure high quality and greater safety.

These type 27 flap discs are a versatile product that can be used from aggressive stock removal to surface blending. The layered construction of abrasive flaps on this flap disc will continually expose new grains for longer life and finer finish compared to resin fiber discs. It can be used for heavy material removal on all types of metals.

T27 (flat face) discs are perfect for grinding down items that are not flat surfaces (like fence posts, gates, and risers etc).  For the best solution on flat surfaced check out our T29 (angled face) flap discs.

Zirconia grains have a self-sharpening property and stand up to higher heat and pressure than Aluminum Oxide (A/O), thus making Zirconia the go-to option, providing excellent stock removal that gives you more bang for your buck.
