Still working on my 1963 aluminum 36 foot Chris Craft Roamer. 20 years ago I replaced the cheesy plywood cockpit paneling with 1/8" aluminum. Water had ingressed between that and the teak floor trim causing the catylized paint (Interlux Perfection) to blister and peel. I used a #120 flap disc to feather a clean shiny edge through the failure, up 2 inches into the good paint. After seeing the results, I decided to take some 180 hook and loop and sand the entire panel for repriming and repaint. The results turned out to be nothing less than magnificent. The whole job barely bothered the flap disc (still like new!) and about 1-1/2 discs worth of 180 for a perfect sanded primer job. Baby a$$ smooth! I ordered these flap discs right around Christmas. They arrived promptly and I was able to use one on a project on New Years Day where I am learning how to weld. The disc performed incredibly well with cleaning up the material and hogging off material. I am very pleased with the quality and value of these discs.

I had my doubts as to whether I'd ever actually see these, as the deal is so good I can't figure out how BA is making any money, but I received the flap disks quickly and they are excellent quality. I received ten disks for the price of two and didn't have to drive 20 miles to a certain discount tool store to get them. The disks are thick, so should last a good long time.

I bought these on a whim as they were offered at a great price. Literally the day they arrived I needed to hog off about 1/4" x 1. 5" x 4' of fir wood from the face of a 2" x 6" piece of framing on the bottom of a swinging 6" thich panel. I couldn't reach it with a circular saw blade. Normally I'd use a hand plane, but I needed this done quick and I didn't care about the resulting finish. A 40 grit disk on my grinder had the job done in less than 3 minutes, and it didn't even wear out the disk. Extremely high quality abrasive on a solid backing, this is a quality product.
