3" MINI FLAP DISC ZIRCONIA QUICK CHANGE DISCS

3" Mini Flap Disc Zirconia Quick Change Discs are manufactured using European zirconia cloth. The European material is superior due to its uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients. These discs exceed other flap discs by packing 25 to 50% more abrasives on each snippet (compared to the competition). In addition, all discs are manufactured on computer-controlled machines and subject to numerous tests which ensure high quality and greater safety.

These mini flap discs are manufactured using premium VSM Zirconia cloth. The VSM material is superior due to its uniform particle size, aggressive cut, and premium blend of ingredients. Benchmark Abrasives min flap discs are great for cleaning weld lines and weld splatter, deburring, deflashing, removing rust, blending, or general stock removal in narrow, small areas. These mini flap discs have adhered to an R-Type backing (equivalent to 3M Roloc fastening system).

These quick-change sanding flap discs are ideal for metal grinding, hardware polishing and automotive, tensile grinding capacity. This quick change flap disc can be used with any air or electric drill, die grinder, and other rotary tools for the utmost sanding control.

T27 (flat face) discs are perfect for grinding down items that are not flat surfaces (like fence posts, gates and risers etc).  For the best solution on flat surfaced check out our T29 (angled face) flap discs.

Zirconia grains have a self-sharpening property and stand up to higher heat and pressure than Aluminum Oxide (A/O), thus making Zirconia the go-to option, providing excellent stock removal that gives you more bang for your buck.

Safety Tips & Techniques:

·Product requires a 3” Type R quick change backing pad to be used

·For less stock removal try using a lighter touch or a feathered approach to your grinding.  Flap discs are like grinding wheels with power steering!

·Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
