2" MINI FLAP DISC CERAMIC QUICK CHANGE DISCS

2" Mini Flap Disc Ceramic Quick Change Discs are manufactured using European ceramic cloth. The European material is superior due to its uniform particle size and premium blend of ingredients. These flap discs are manufactured using the latest development in abrasive technology in the metalworking industry. Ceramic Flap Discs do exceptionally well, outperforming Zirconia flap discs by up to 50% on stainless steel, carbon steel allots, and exotic metals.

These quick-change sanding flap discs are ideal for metal grinding, hardware polishing and automotive, tensile grinding capacity. This quick change flap disc can be used with any air or electric drill, die grinder, and other rotary tools for the utmost sanding control.  T27 (flat face) discs are perfect for grinding down items that are not flat surfaces (like fence posts, gates and risers etc).  

Ceramic grains are self-sharpening, remaining sharp throughout the entire life of the wheel. In addition, all discs are manufactured on computer-controlled machines and subject to numerous tests which ensure high quality and greater safety. These ceramic flap discs are intended for surface prep grinding, along with grinding and blending welds. This flap disc is particularly effective for stainless steel, carbon steel alloys, and other metals. It is designed with ceramic grains resin bonded to high strength polyester flaps adhered to a fiberglass backing plate.

Safety Tips & Techniques:

·Product requires a 2” Type R quick change backing pad to be used

·For less stock removal try using a lighter touch or a feathered approach to your grinding.  Flap discs are like grinding wheels with power steering!

·Always wear proper PPE to include (but not limited to) safety glasses, hearing protection, respirator, and hand protection.  Keep all guards in place on your machine.
