↠↠ All collars are available in a buckle width of ¾”, 1”, or 1-½” - The ¾” buckle is the standard size for small collars & the 1" buckle is the standard size for medium or large collars. The 1-½” is very large and heavy. We only recommend this option for large dogs or dogs with long necks or a lot of fur.
↠↠ The following sizing suggestions are recommendations based on average dog sizes. These are not guaranteed and will vary based on your pet's weight and build.
X-Small (7" to 10") ↠↠ Recommended ¾” Buckle for Dogs Under 10 lbs (Yorkshire Terrier, Chihuahua, Papillion)
Small (8" to 10") ↠↠ Recommended ¾” Buckle for Dogs Approximately 10-20 lbs (Jack Russel, Toy Poodle, Maltese)
Medium (11" to 17") ↠↠ Recommended ¾” or 1" Buckle for Dogs Approximately 20-40 lbs (Pug, Cocker Spaniel, Boston Terrier, Beagle, French Bulldog)
Large (17" to 26") ↠↠ Recommended 1" or 1-½” Buckle for Dogs Approximately 40-80 lbs (Boxer, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd, Lab, Siberian Husky)
X-Large (26" to 30") ↠↠ Recommended 1-½” Buckle for Dogs Over 80 lbs (Mastiff, Great Dane, Saint Bernard)
Cat Collar (7.5” to 12.5”, 3/8” thick) ↠↠ Safety Breakaway Buckle – Black plastic cat face with rounded ears to avoid injury. The length of these cat collars can be adjusted between 7.5 to 12.5 inches. The sturdy detachable safety release buckle can be unlocked with a certain amount of force. It can freely break free to avoid the pet being strangled by the collar, ensure the safety of the pet. The downside to a breakaway buckle is that they can come off at undesirable times and should not be used with leashes or for restraint. This is not a quality issue of the collar, but rather a safety feature. Please note that all collars are pictured with a 1” thick collar and our cat collars are only 5/8” - larger prints may not show up as clearly on our cat collars. Fabric placement may vary. Each cat collar comes with a bell, the color of the bell will be selected based upon availability.

↠↠ Why choose Collars by Kylie over any other dog collar vendor? We choose to sew our fabric over a heavy polypropylene webbing core rather than using stabilizer. I believe this is what makes our collars stronger and last longer. The benefit of heavy polypropylene webbing is that it is resistant to water, mold, mildew, stretching and UV-Rays. We choose to use the highest quality when selecting fabric and thread, and use metal buckles not only for the look, but for the durability and strength.
↠↠ Please take note that each collar I make is made to order, so there may be slight variations in the colors and patterns depending on the cut of fabric. If you have any preferences in the cut of fabric, please message me and I will do my best to accommodate your request.
↠↠ My normal processing time is about 2-4 business days, but because life happens and during busy times, processing can take up to 5-7 business days. Each item is made by hand per your order, and am I am a one woman run business, so your patience is greatly appreciated!
↠↠ These collars are hand washable and can be hung or laid flat to dry without losing shape. After time, collars can become subject to wear and tear, so please replace as necessary for the safety of your pet.
