As a 53 year old white woman I was actually pretty skeptical about the whole bonnet thing. I actually only bought it because the menopausal hairless was driving me crazy, and I figured this would at least contain all those loose hairs. I am a vey active sleeper so my first shock was that this actually stayed on overnight. I move around a lot in my sleep, and not only did it stay on, but it is actually strangely soothing, plus it means I am not constantly rolling over and laying on my long hair. It did not make my head hot - in fact quite the opposite - it kept my hair off my neck and face which had an almost cooling effect. I had a small issue with the bonnet which was sorted immediately by the excellent customer service team, and I really just can't say enough good things about this product. I have now bought bonnets for both of my daughter's and extol their virtues to anyone who will listen. I am a total convert - thanks Kitsch!
