This can be put in water and be ok to drink. I put it in a half bottle of water and shake shake shake. My daughter does not like it in plain water, and puts it in her protein drink. Beyond Brew is very easy to prepare in the morning before leaving for work. I mix mine in with my cold brew coffee and it is a great addition (I use half of my coffee concentrate) and make it in my tumbler.
