Garage Door Openers by Brand Compatible with the Smart Garage Control

·LiftMaster, Chamberlain and Craftsman: Only garage door openers made after 1993. These include most Chamberlain manufactured garage door openers.To determine if your garage door opener is compatible, look for the learn button on the motor head. If the learn button on your garage door opener looks like one of the following then the Smart Garage Control is compatible to your opener.Yellow*Purple*Orange/RedGreen

·Genie/Overhead: Intellicode 1 and Intellicode 2 garage door openers manufactured 1996 to current.

·Wayne-Dalton: 372.5MHz - KeeLoq garage door openersThe myQ Smart Garage Control will only work with Wayne Dalton garage door openers that run on a 372.5MHz frequency. It is not compatible to Wayne Dalton openers that run on a 303MHz frequency. To determine the frequency of your garage door opener, check with the manufacturer.

Door Requirements

·Garage door must be a sectional door.

·Garage door must have the safety sensors installed.

Garage Door Openers That Are Not Compatible

·The Smart Garage Control will NOT operate a garage door opener with Dip Switches. However, it can be configured to monitor your garage door opener.Monitor Mode is when the myQ app can advise if the door is open or closed, but cannot activate the garage door opener.

·The Smart Garage Control will NOT operate a LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman, or other Chamberlain manufactured unit that use a 433MHz frequency (Blue learn button). These units will need a myQ Control Panel (889LM) paired with the myQ Garage, myQ Smart Garage Hub, Smart Garage Control or a myQ Internet Gateway in order to use the app.

·If programming was not successful or the myQ app indicates "Monitor Mode," please cycle the door via remote or control panel and try to reprogram the system again.
