Q: Can this video doorbell connect to my smartphone?
A: No, this doorbell does not connect to a smartphone or mobile app. The system includes two parts: a doorbell camera and an indoor monitor. When the doorbell button is pressed, the indoor monitor will display the live video from the outdoor camera. Video recordings are stored on an SD card.
Q: Why does the monitor not respond when the doorbell is pressed?
A: Please check the following:
Make sure the monitor has enough battery power.
Make sure the power switch on the side of the monitor is turned on.
If everything is correct but it still doesn’t work, please try pairing the doorbell with the monitor again.
Q: How do I pair the doorbell with the monitor?
A:
Press and hold the “M” button on the monitor until it shows “Pairing” on the screen.
Then press and hold the doorbell button for about 5 seconds.
When the monitor displays “Pairing Successful”, the pairing process is complete.
Q: How is the device powered?
A: Both the doorbell and the monitor have built-in rechargeable lithium batteries.
The monitor battery lasts about 1–2 days after a full charge. For continuous use, it is recommended to keep it plugged in.
The doorbell battery can last about 3–4 months on a full charge, depending on usage.
Q: Why can't I view playback of previous video recordings on the monitor?
A: An SD card must be inserted for video recordings to be saved. When someone presses the doorbell, the video will be stored on the SD card. If no SD card is inserted, only a limited number of snapshot images may be saved.
Q: What is the effective connection range between the doorbell and the monitor?
A:
Up to 80 meters (262 ft) in open areas without obstacles.
About 50 meters (164 ft) with wooden walls or standard household barriers.
About 20 meters (65 ft) if there are metal doors or heavy interference.
Actual performance may vary depending on the surrounding environment. For best results, install the doorbell in a suitable location. Avoid mounting it directly on large metal doors or very thick walls (over 30 cm).
