I got these bowls with a wall-mounted dog food stand that I ordered off Etsy. When I noticed the copper wearing off on the inside, I asked where they got them and they told me Neater Pets. I thought maybe it was just a fluke so I ordered more of the same; however, the same thing happened on the next set of bowls. I think these look great and they work great in a holder. But I definitely don't like the idea of my dogs ingesting whatever this copper coating is whenever they eat (it doesn't happen so much with the water bowls as they don't lick those so hard). I was happy to discover some other bowls available here that have the copper on the outside and no color on the inside. Am definitely replacing all four of our bowls with the newer ones.

Looks like it will do the trick for my goldendoodle granddog. Does not appear to be easy to tip over.
