Curly 3c hair. Been using new wash for over 2 years now. I find any other shampoo makes my hair feel like straw. I swim and live in SoCal so hard water and chlorine do a number. New Wash goes a long way for me. Wash maybe 1-2x a week. My hair loves it and I’m getting some good growth as well

I’ve been using New Wash Rich for 2.5 years and it’s been the best thing that has happened to my hair, not anymore. When they changed the packaging, they changed the formula. The new formula is more watery and it doesn’t smell the same. I went from washing my hair 1x a week to needing to wash it every 3 days. I’ve also noticed that it doesn’t get my hair as clean as it used to. I’m looking through the reviews to see if other people are experiencing the same thing and they are, but the AI that is responding to the reviews, Laurence, is writing it off as “small batch inconsistencies”. It’s not a small batch issue, it’s a reformulation and you need to be honest about it.

Hairston shampoo leaves my hair with great body. However, my scalp is itchy all the time. Now, I notice that my neck is very itchy, also. This week I used the styling gel and it was good. I don’t know if I am allergic to your products but I will try others this week and see if things change. I have not used the pre-wash I ordered. I would hate to give up Hairwash.

I started using Hairstory New Wash about a year ago and it is now the ONLY thing I put in my hair. I regularly bleach my hair and used to use lots of conditioners and hair oil but not anymore. Now it is shiny, think, soft and so healthy. It's a great product.

I love New Wash Rich. My hair has a lot of white in it since I entered my 60s. It can be dry and frizz around my head like a fright. This rich version really cuts down on the frizz without weighing it down. It stays clean feeling for days. The best!

I have been using Hairstory for a couple years now and this rich formula is great for my hair with highlights. It cleans thoroughly and leaves my hair, shiny and full of body and I don’t need to wash my hair more than once or twice a week I highly recommend it.

Firsly I did try before you buy which was great. I have very fine AND thin hair so was unsure how Rich would work, but going off the reviews I wanted to give it a try. I have been using New Wash original for ages anyway, but I would say this leaves my hair feeling marginally less dry and does feel a touch more nourishing. I will stick with Rich for now for those reasons.
