I've had the red heart waffle maker for several years (it was a valentine's day gift, and my 1st waffle maker) and it has always worked well, but I always knew that someday I'd want another so I could make a batch of waffles quicker. I tried buying another brand's machine a couple years ago that made two of the Scandinavian style waffles of connected hearts that look a bit like a flower, but I didn't realize their waffles were much thinner and we didn't like that as much so I returned it. I was randomly looking at different multi-treat machines online and was so excited when I saw that Dash now has a full-sized one that includes a heart waffle! After around a month of trying to decide if I really needed/wanted this right away or if I should save it as a gift list idea.... I finally decided to just buy it. And I'm really glad I did! Even though the description said this had a "full sized" heart waffle, I wasn't sure if it would be the same size as my older red machine's heart waffle since no dimensions were listed when I ordered this product. I am very happy to report that they are the same size! My older red machine heated up quicker, but I think the new aqua MultiMaker actually made nicer looking waffles. I tried to pour the batter the same for both, but the aqua MultiMaker seemed to make a more defined heart.... perhaps since it is a little heavier it was able to press down more and distribute the batter nicer? The red machine is smaller and lighter overall, and can be stored upright, but the new MultiMaker is so much nicer because it has removable plates which makes cleaning incredibly easy and it can make different things! I really hope they add a bunch of new plate types to buy, like they do for their mini MultiMaker. I'd definitely buy them all! And at some point I'll buy another full sized MultiMaker to completely replace my old red one (I'll give the old one to a college aged family member) so I can not only make two heart waffles at once to save time, but a bunch of other treats too! I added some pictures to show the comparison between both the red and aqua machines. The waffles I made to test these were cinnamon waffles (just added a bunch of cinnamon to some "just add water" pancake/waffle mix), which is why they look darker than usual.

So fat, so good! I've done 3 loads already, and I Like it! Easy to clean, and just a few minutes each waffle. Perfect for little loads for the little kids, and I don't have to lug out my huge waffle iron!

I like the way the maker works, but it’s much more cheaply made than the older Dash makers. I used it once, it fell off the counter on to a throw rug and the top cracked all the way across back near the hinge. I’m so disappointed.

The one regret I have buying this product is that I didn't do it sooner! Removable plates makes it a breeze to clean. Bought the large waffle plates too and it's great! I hope Dash releases some holiday waffle plates for this! I love my mini waffle makers but removable plates is a game changer for a busy mom with two young kids.
