The first one I ordered was a disappointment in how plastic it smelled. The fumes were so bad, I was concerned about it not being healthy to breath around it. Luckily I asked the support team for help and they assured me that was NOT normal. They immediately shipped me a second one and it's great!!! I often put my sandwiches, wraps, burritos, etc. in for a little extra crisp , and I'm looking forward to using my new addition, the waffle plates, for breakfast soon. Thanks for great customer service and a little grill with the exact plates I wanted that fits in my tiny apartment kitchen. One of a kind on the market!! Hope they make even more creative useful plates for it in the future. This thing is great!

So happy I purchased this press grill system. It has all what you need; removable plates that allow you to clean them under the water and clean if necessary the inside.
You can do many dishes. I like to use it for my morning paninis. 5 stars.

I love the size because it is larger than the Dash Mini items but smaller than a full size item. It saves counter and storage space.
The drip tray is also sn improvement over the mini appliances.
The interchangeable plates are easy to change and clean. I do widh their was a dedicatrd storage container for the plates. I am concerned about the plates being damaged in storage.

This is such a great Grill press, that my 97 year old mother uses every single day in the morning.. She gets up and puts her bread and sliced cheese together and then puts it on the grill. She loves it. Thank you DASH for a wonderfully simple product.

This is exactly what I was looking for. We have made panini style sandwiches all week. I made waffles over the weekend, and used the griddle for eggs. I bought the grill, griddle and waffle plates. The are very easy to clean (wipe them down or dishwasher) and to change out. Perfect for one or two people!

I am now cooking only for myself, and I had looked at larger grill/griddle combos, but never had bought them because they seemed too heavy, took too much space, etc. I was delighted to find this smaller one -- and with optional waffle plates, too -- that seems to be just what I wanted. So far, I have made a panini sandwich and waffles and am very pleased. There is a small learning curve to know how long to bake things, as the recipes don't seem to give much guidance, but the system is going to be very handy and doesn't take much space. Hooray!

Is a definite upgrade from my dash 8 inch series. I have the griddle and the waffle in the 8 inch round. But now I can bring one with us when we go on vacation to our condo. No need to pack two items. I like that it opens flat for more grilling space too. Ok, I’m off to griddle some eggs on it now.
