Homemade Cinnamon Rolls 🎄The sweetest way to start a morning of opening presents! And there’s one special trick to achieving the perfect level of ooey-gooey deliciousness...go ahead and try it, we dare you! Ingredients: For Dough: ¾ cup warm milk 2¼ teaspoons (1 package) yeast ¼ cup sugar 1 egg plus 1 egg yolk ¼ cup butter, melted 3 cups flour ¾ teaspoon salt ½ cup heavy cream For Filling: ⅔ cup dark brown sugar 1½ tablespoons ground cinnamon ¼ cup butter, softened For Cream Cheese Frosting: 8 ounces cream cheese, softened 6 tabelspoons butter, softened 1½ cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Directions: * In the bowl of the Dash 3.5QT Tilt-Head Stand Mixer, combine warm milk, yeast, sugar, egg, egg yolk, and melted butter. * Attach Dough Hook Attachment and add flour and salt. Combine at medium speed until a dough forms. Knead on medium speed for 8 minutes. * Lift dough out and spray bowl with a light coating of cooking spray. Return dough to bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Allow to rise until doubled in size, about 90 minutes. * Transfer dough to a floured surface and roll into a rectangle. * In a small bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Spread the mixture over the dough. * Tightly roll the dough up and press it gently together. Use dental floss to cut into 1½-inch segements. * Pour heavy cream into the Roasting Pan of the Dash SmartStore® 7-in-1 Multipurpose Nesting Cookware + Steamer Set and tilt to spread it around and up the sides. * Add the rolls to the Pan and cover. Let rise for 30-40 minutes while the oven preheats to 350°F. * Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. My biggest Thanksgiving mistake last year was not making homemade rolls. They’re much easier than I thought! Especially with a stand mixer that does all the kneading for you. So what are you bringing to the Thanksgiving table this year? Because I’m showing up with the fluffiest, melt-in-your-mouth rolls—made effortlessly with the Dash Tilt-Head Stand Mixer and baked in the SmartStore Roasting Pan. Trust me: your holiday table is begging for these. Here’s how to make these Easy Homemade Rolls: Ingredients • 1 cup whole milk • 1 tbsp sugar • 1 package instant yeast • 1 egg • 1 tsp salt • 1/4 cup softened butter • 1 additional tbsp sugar • 3 cups flour • Optional: melted butter + flaky salt for finishing Instructions 1. Stir 1 tbsp sugar into the milk and warm in the microwave until it’s slightly warmer than your skin (or about 110°F). Sprinkle yeast over the top and let it bloom for 10 minutes. 2. In the bowl of your Dash Stand Mixer, combine the softened butter, egg, salt, remaining 1 tbsp sugar, 1 cup of flour, and the yeast mixture. Using the dough hook, mix on medium until smooth. 3. Add the remaining flour and continue mixing until a dough forms. If it’s still sticky and not pulling away from the sides of the bowl, add flour 1 tbsp at a time until it does. 4. Increase the speed to medium-high and let the mixer knead the dough for 5–7 minutes, until smooth and slightly shiny. (If you want to be fancy, pull a small piece and stretch it—if it lets light through without tearing, you’re a dough wizard.) 5. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size. 6. Punch down the dough, then divide into 8 equal pieces. Shape each roll by stretching the sides underneath and pinching in the back to create surface tension. 7. Place the rolls in the Dash 7-in-1 Ceramic Pan, cover with the ClearView lid, and let rise for another hour. 8. Preheat oven to 350°F. 9. Bake for 20–25 minutes, until beautifully golden. 10. Optional but highly recommended: brush with melted butter and shower with flaky salt. Soft, warm, golden perfection—ready for Thanksgiving (or, honestly, any random Tuesday).
