I love this cooker. I haven't cooked anything except the long grain brown and white rice. Both have been wonderful. The only thing I wish it did was beep when the cooking was completed. I have several of the Dash products and Love then all. Mine is red.I would HIGHLY recommend!!

This is the best thing I’ve ever bought for my tiny kitchen. A MUST HAVE for single meals, but definitely works when cooking for two (3 if it’s just for sides). There’s some incredible recipes online, and in box, that I can’t wait to try. Love it!!

I am out of town working for the next year. I needed something mini for my little kitchen at my apartment. I found Dash on Walmart and preferred to buy direct. Opening the box was super amazing because I ordered the mini toaster too and the shipping box was small. The mini rice cooker is hand size (I’m only 5 feet tall) and adorable. Easy clean up, I recommend reading the directions first before use. But cooking rice was easy, I used the measuring cup (2 cups) which is almost a full traditional cup of rice. If you use the measuring cup it’s equal parts water. I used cold bottle water (next time I’ll try room temperature) but so far so good. Just for cooking purposes, I stared cooking the rice at 1208pm and the rice was done (aka warmer turned on) by 1233pm. Rice is perfectly fluffy! The instruction booklet comes with recipes with photos, definitely a plus.

The rice cooker cooks farro and orzo pasta so much faster than waiting for the water to come to a boil to cook on the stove. I can’t wait to try other things.

So far so good... I live alone. I hate pulling out the big Insta pot for a little bit of rice so I’ve been buying individual instant rice packets. This will save me money.

I’ve tried a couple of counter and microwave rice cookers and never found one that suited my simple requirements... cook a minimal amount of rice to perfection and keep it warm without a lot of mess, cleanup and waste. THIS MINI RICE COOKER from Dash is perfect!! I can make a half cup uncooked rice in 25 minutes with no attention from me other than pouring in the rice and water and pressing the cook button. The rice turns out perfect every time. Even jasmine rice cooks perfectly. Cleanup is a breeze... the cooked rice removes without any sticking to the bowl and just a quick sponge wipeout and it’s ready for another batch. I LOVE THIS RICE COOKER!
