This is a great hair straightening tool, but it's more than that! Due to its ability to reach your set temperature in seconds, I've used it to curl my hair instead of my usual hair wand because of time constraints. The curls lasted with my usual products, but what's noticeable is the shine! Straight or curly, this tool somehow makes your hair gleam as though you've used hair oil! It's a great tool and would definitely recommend!

I received my first NUME straightener as a gift to replace my Chi when I was still in school. It worked great, if not better than the straightener I had before, and it had a dial to control heat settings instead of just an on/off switch. It’s been a little over ten years and I’m just now replacing my original NUME. It worked perfectly up until about a month ago when it began struggling to stay hot. I was sad to see it go, but excited to know that it lasted a decade without any issues. That’s a great value. All in all five stars so far. My plates are a little sticky but I can use this on 450 with protectant and it does a very nice job of taming my curls and the kinky side I’ve developed lately. I went out in the rain today (with a raincoat) and zero frizz or curls coming back. I haven’t been able to do that with titanium plates. Plus, they kept ruining my fine hair at 400, even with protectant.
