Wand would not lock into the base of the unit. Tried several times, watched videos and had s friend try as well. The unit does not lock which makes it dangerous.

I was gifted the octowand kit over 10 years ago and just recently came to the site to order a replacement base. My hair doesn’t always hold a curl very well, but this set works wonders. I bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She had one before but misplaced it. She loved it so much that I bought it again for her. She loves how it doesnt take her long at all to get the curls she wants. She uses it about 2-3 times a week. Her curls plastic for a few days till she washes her hair and does it again (styling with a different style curler). She loves having interchangeable curlers

Love this curling set to pieces! I don't know how to do my hair well, and my hair is completely natural and uncolored. It's quite difficult to make a curl stay in place. With the larger attachments, I get enormous, bouncy curls that truly last.
