The filter is just what I has hoped for, small enough to fit in a belt pouch, enough features to make filtering in the wild easy and safe. The carrying case on the other hand is a waste of money as it does not have room for both the filter and the back flush tool. I bought three filters and three cases. At least the filters work.

I have had Life Straws since they first became available. The Peak Solo, is the latest improvement in the Life Straw family. The ability to screw this onto a water bottle means that you can now carry water from a questionable source in a standard water bottle and make it safe to drink while on the move.

This was my 'just in case' Lifestraw purchase. I own the Sip Straw (and several for gifts), 2 insulated water bottles, and the 32 cup water dispenser. Because I'm paranoid, I purchased this product because it's perfectly portable for long walks in local parks. The water fountains are always appreciated but I'd prefer to filter the water, just in case.

Replaced my old Sawyer Squeeze with this and think it is a better product. It is so light, easy to use, and nice flow rate. Does what it is supposed to. Only used it on one backpacking trip so far, but because it is so light I plan to bring it with me on day hikes and bike rides.
