Had a group of friends recommend investing in a better water filter and it was the best decision! I used to find it difficult drinking out of a pitcher that sits in the fridge because of weird aftertastes/smells, but with this pitcher I have had no issue. Best tasting water I’ve had with a filter! Very sturdy and holds a lot of water. 10/10 recommend!

I love the design and lines of the pitcher. I’ve had mine for a couple years now, and bought a lighter gray. But over time the silicone bits have become discolored. I’d also prefer a darker color. I wish there was an option to purchase a replacement interior in a different color instead of buying a whole new pitcher. Or even just replacement silicone bands. Please, please, please!

This should be a requirement provided to all Peace Corps volunteers!! My daughter is a volunteer in rural Panama and she finally can have safe, good water to drink. So far it has been worth the price and wait for the product, which had to be sent through the USA due to the office in Panama not being real.

A great addition to any counter or fridge. I love how it looks in my kitchen (I got the pruple). I've been using my new water filter since I got it and it's been great. It's a bit more prep than something like a Brita but the water tastes WAY better than any filter I've tried. It is slower to filter but that's also how you know it's actually filtering. I've had a few in the past where the water almost immediately trickles thru or water can bypass the filter completely which isn't an issue here, all of the seals are tight and the filtration is top notch. I'm from an area with notoriously bad water so I have peace of mind knowing how rigorous Lifestraw's testing is.

I like the taste or rather ,lack of taste of the water, but the filtration is slower than the Britta I have. It makes sense because the Life straw pitcher is doing much more than the Britta. I will just get used to the new pitcher filtration speed and adjust to it.

I was impress with the information that I read in the Washington Post about the LifeStraw pitcher, so I bought one. It took me a month to review and use the pitcher to other pressing issues. I watched the video that explained how to get started. . The process was real easy. The snafu came when I realized that a a gasket was missing the filter housing. I learned this by watching the deep cleaning video which showed the removal of the gasket. I contacted LifeStraw about the missing part and received a response the same day. A new pitcher was order and I received it in 16 days. I like the pitcher. It is easy to use. I did my first deep cleaning and that was a breeze. I will admit that you have to wiggle the filter housing to remove it from the glass pitcher. The water in my area has funny taste to it (metallic). I can tell alot of chemical are added to the water. I would recommend this pitcher to family and friends. I would have given it 5 stars but that filter housing is tricky to remove. Not sure what can be done about that.
