I love my purple 18 oz Life Straw. I took it to California and later to Nepal and used it with confidence. I went ahead and ordered filters to have "just in case. " But, on the airplane I lost the cap and am very disappointed to find out I can't replace it in the same color.

The only thing I don’t care for is the mouth piece. Sometimes pressure builds up and when you open it you get a little wet. Possibly I don’t understand the science behind it all. We Trave a lot so love the concept. We have 3 pitchers and other lifestraw products.

I love lifestraw products. The peace of mind knowing your water is being properly filtered and safe for consumption is priceless. However, this product has this weird pressure buildup that literally keeps drawing water through the sip straw even when you're not intentionally doing it. The result is constant leaking at the top and water running over. This is highly annoying. Any tips to stop this would be greatly appreciated Lifestraw. Fix this issue and I would rate it a 5 star!

I like this bottle! Makes me feel safe drinking water from almost any source, so it’s especially great for traveling. Just be careful with it on airplanes. The change in air pressure can cause it to bubble and spill water on you. I learned the hard way

I love being able to have clean water while traveking. I will say though, my fikter vs my boyfriends is much harder to suck through so i may have to install a different one. Great for traveling - especially in hotels and internationally.

Love that it filters so many different chemicals including microplastics. Water tastes great. The metal is a little flimsy and I dented a small portion of it pretty quickly. I think with the filter taking up volume, you actually get less than the 1L of fluid.

LOVE having my LifeStraw bottle to filter water (even bottled water) and the peace of mind that comes with avoiding microplastics and whatever else! I mix/match colored lids to the bottle to make it even cooler looking (blue bottle/merlot cap right now - NICE)! May get green or orange lid in Spring! Sooo, there's leakage from time to time on top of cap (air pressure for sure), which gets messy. I followed instructions to blow air through bottle/filter, but it still leaks occasionally. Was literally scrouring the web for a promo code when purchasing my LifeStraw, and came across a vid where LS gave a bunch of FREE stuff - all the stuff I was BUYING - to an "influencer" who sipped water out of a river in Canada. His vid, imo, didn't do much for your product. Maybe offer decent promos to those actually paying for your product, please. I get the influencer angle, but that made me almost start looking for an alternative option. I made the right decision, and take my LifeStraw with me everywhere. Thanks for making a great product.

Great color, durability, and filters well. Only downside side is the lid gets funky/stinky so easily! If I clean it and keep it off at home it’s ok, but taking it camping and actually using the lid makes it stink within a few days unfortunately.

I bought the 18oz water bottle for a trip to Nepal and India from Amazon. But first, I took it to California and used water fountains for the bottle without any worry. I am pleased with the bottle and do not find it heavy to carry around. I do not find it leaks and I have dropped it several times. I did add electrolyte powder once and found that not a good idea because the water tended to spill out of the mouthpiece. I was unable to find the replacement for the mouthpiece on Amazon, so I find the shipping price to be high from Lifestraw. That is why i took off a star.

When I was little, I took a class on the microscope where we looked at my school water and found tons of bacteria. Filtered bottles didn't exist then, so my family only drank bottled for years. As soon as filtered bottles came onto the market, I've been searching for the perfect one and I've finally found it. The filter is great and leaves the water tasting so, the insulation keeps it nice and cold all day, the mouthpiece is covered, and the metal is durable enough to make it through being thrown around during a day of personal training at the gym or my side gig working at a high ropes course. I have had a smaller version for years (and before that the flip top non-insulated version), but I am in love with the larger version (and wider array of colors!). It's the perfect travel bottle, and it gives me peace of mind no matter where I fill it up. LifeStraw bottles are always what I recommend to clients as they begin their fitness journey, and that certainly won't be changing anytime soon.

Would really be great if it had a side handle instead of just the one on top. Also, it should be recommended to users not to open the bottle mid-flight due to pressure. Should see if this can be remedied.
